BELLA LEFT FOR SCHOOL EARLY THAT MORNING. Max had spent the night at the house in Bella's bed while Bella slept on the floor by the couch. Max had left as soon as she woke up and had breakfast, going home to get dressed for the day before she left for school herself. Bella was full of minor bruises and cuts over her arms and legs but it didn't bother her. Not in the slightest. She had a lot of fun and minor pains were worth it.

Bella was in science class, once again, and she was actually interested in the lesson for once. The story of Phineas Gage was one that interested her because it reminded her of Will's case. "The case of Phineas Gage is one of the great medical curiosities of all time," Mr Clarke spoke as Bella took in the picture on the screen, leaning forward in her arms on the desk.
