chapter thirteen
{ unedited }
DECEMBER HAD COME ON BY AND THE SNOW WAS FALLING STEADILY. Bella was in science class the second day of December, her eyes on the white winter outside, her head resting on her arms laid on the desk. It was the last class of the day. She, Dustin, Lucas, Will and Max had plans to go out and walk around for a bit. Mike already had plans with Eleven to even care about what the rest of the party was doing so this was something Lucas had planned to help get things back to normal.
Bella felt her eyes drift from the window to Max. She was actually focusing on the lesson, unlike Bella. She was spinning her pen as she listened to Mr Clarke. Even with the snowing, the sun was slightly shining in through and made her red hair seem golden. Bella would never get bored of watching Max, observing her. No matter how creepy that sounded, Bella did love watching Max.
Max scribbled something onto a scrap piece of paper and held it up in Bella's direction without looking her way, Bella fighting back a smile at what was written on it. Stalker.
Bella picked up her pen and wrote down her response, feeling Max's eyes on her as she did so. She held it up for Max to see, the words you're pretty on display for only Max. Bella wouldn't lie, she felt proud when Max blushed and looked away, sinking in her seat slightly.
