Chapter Twenty-Nine

Everyone fled as I let go my shield off. They then started getting into position, circling around the dragon.

Namjoon suddenly punched both of his hands onto the ground. Two boulders then started appearing, wrapping the dragon's body, entrapping it. 

It became mad and started wriggling.

"Hurry!" Namjoon shouted. "I don't think I could hold it much longer!"

Yoongi went for the dragon's left leg.  He stabbed it with his dagger, slashing it all the way through the end of its feet. 

He did it so fast that it leaves a very nice cut. then, I saw it sprouting with black blood. He was so precise.

Jin and Jimin went to the other leg. Jin bites the leg's joint ang immediately the dragon kneels on the ground, losing its balance. 

Jimin didn't lose any second. He gripped on the leg, dug his vampire nails on its flesh and twist it, tearing every ligament. 

The dragon roared on pain. 

Suddenly, the dragon opened its wings wide. We all stumbled to the ground by the strong wing it produces. The dragon started flapping its wings. 

Just what we wanted.

"Lisa!" Jungkook shouted, he was riding on Hoseok. He called them from the other side of the dragon. "Let's go!" Lisa just yelled as an answer and extended her wand. 

Jungkook did the same. They blasted both of the dragon's wings. 

The dragon shrieked in pain as the blast made a hole on both of its wings. The dragon still sloppily flapped its wings, retreating.

"Now!" Taehyung proclaimed. I met his gaze and nodded. We both look at Jennie. 

"You're not going to make it!" She stated.

"We will!" Chaeyoung declared.

She nodded at both of us. We both run directly towards the dragon. Chaeyoung grabbed both of our arm and throw us in the air then Jennie cast her wind spell and made us float. 

Suddenly, we stopped midway. 

Jennie's magic cannot reach this far. 

"We're not giving up!" Taehyung yelled and grabbed my hand, throwing me towards the dragon just like what Chaeyoung did earlier. 

Just the right push, I reached the dragon and hopped on its back. 

"Taehyung!" I called out. 

"I'm here!" I heard him answered. I looked down and saw him holding on to the dragon's feet. i sighed in relief. "I'm fine. Just go. I'll meet you there!" He said.

 I nodded and run all the way up to the dragon's upper body. I hold on to its horn as it started thrashing. 

I saw Taehyung holding on to its neck. And suddenly he gripped its head and twisted it. I saw the dragon protest in pain. It started wriggling to make us fall. 

And just then, it shoots a blast directly at Taehyung hands. He yelled in pain.

"Taehyung!" I wailed.

"I'm okay!" He hissed. "Do it now!" He shouted. His grip tighten and twisted it's neck. Exposing to me to see the black dragon's aura, it's vital spot. 

With all my might, I charged my fire directly in it. 

"Taehyung, let go!" I bawled out. "You're gonna get involve by the blast!" I said as can feel the black aura ringing in my ears. 

"Just do it!" He shouted and screamed in agony. 

I screamed as my blast grew bigger and bigger. "Ahhhhhhhh!" The black fire exploded. The dragon head burst into flames. 

Because of the impact, I got blasted away to the sky as the dragon started falling. 

As I fall from the sky. I saw Taehyung. I'm so glad he's safe, though I could see fresh wounds in every part of his arms. I extended my arms, reaching him. 

He reached for me too and dragged me close and embracing me tight. We both closed my eyes as were getting nearer to fall to the ground. 

Just then, I felt like we suddenly stopped. I opened my eyes and saw Jennie was extending her arms directly at us, stopping us from falling. 

She slowly put us on our feet with a safe landing.

They all gathered besides us as we witness the downfall of the dragon. The ground shake because of its impact. And we saw its headless and lifeless body on the ground. 

Jin immediately howled in victory. Hoseok who was already on his human form, high-fived with Namjoon. 

Jennie and Yoongi hugged each other. Jimin was wiping Chaeyoung tears away, muttering such loving words. And I saw Lisa and Jungkook passionately shared a kiss.

And lastly, I looked at Taehyung. He was already looking at me. "I love you, Soo." He said. 

My heart leapt with joy. I hugged him tight then looked up at his face. "I love you, too Tae." He smiled which I gave it him back.

"You know what would be really great?" Namjoon suddenly stated. We all looked at him as he continued. "If we could live in this town without some kind of uninvited guests trying to kill us."

"True. I'd like to live with you guys here without fearing for our lives everyday." I stated.

"We could build a shield for the town." We all looked at our back. Uncle Seo Joon was the one who spoke. We saw the PRIS team walking towards us. Thank goodness, all of them are safe. 

"Guess we're late, huh?" Suho stated. They all looked at the lifeless dragon just a few meters away from us. 

"Nah, it's okay." Taehyung answered and extended his arms. Suho smiled and accepted it. I guess they're fine now.

"We can manipulate fire, do magic, sends demons back to hell, fly around the sky, have super strength and super speed, shift into a wolf and many others" Yoongi sighed. "But we can't make a whole town invisible."

"We could do it." said Uncle Seo Joon, smirking.

All eyes turned to him.

"On one condition," He said. "We, my team get to stay."

We all looked at each other. I met Namjoon gaze and nodded. 

I trust my Uncle and I swear on my life that they mean no harm to us. I knew him as a cold and distant person but I admire his dream and it is to live in harmony with every kind. 

Human or not, it's his will to seek adventure and find peace.

Namjoon step forward, and extended his arms out. "Welcome to the town." Uncle Seo Joon willingly accepted his hand and went for the handshake.
