Just Get Lost. I'm Going Home.

We arrived at the movie theaters in no time and I looked up to see the sign completely covered in bright lights. 

"What do you guys wanna watch? Comedy, Horror.." Bertram paused and leaned in closely "Romantic?" He shrugged his eyebrows.

 "Eww!" "Gross Bertram!" We all yelled out, Bertram got a laugh out of it and continued.

"seriously what do ya'll wanna watch?" "Horror!" One yelled. 

"Yeah Horror!" Two more yelled. "I wanna watch something funny, I hate horror movies!" Timmy yelled out. Tommy then agreed along with Squints. Benny than said "I wanna watch horror." 

"4 to 3!" Ham yelled out. "Comedy" another boy yelled out. All the boys than turned their heads to me. "Your the tie breaker, 4 to 4." Ham said looking at me with an apologetic face. 

"I don't know. I hate being in the position!" I wined. 

"Fine rock paper scissors." Ham announced and Ham and I put our hand on our palm. "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" Ham had one fair and square and he chose Horror.

"Yay!" Yelled half the boys. The others groaned and walked up to the ticket lady (I don't know what to call them.) 

"10 tickets please for your scariest horror movie." Bertram spoke handing the red haired woman cash. She counted the money setting it in the register and handing out tickets to each of us. She smiled at each of the boys before reaching me.

 She looked me up and down and handed me the ticket turning away smacking while chewing her gum. 

Honestly It wasn't the first time someone gave me that look. I bet they all think I'm boy crazy since I hang out with all these boys. 

But I didn't care what people like her thought, in a few years they won't even remember me. We finally entered the building, grabbed our popcorn and ran down the hall to our theater room. 

When we got in, there had been very few people sitting in the rows so we managed to get one of the top rows.

 We all squeezed in and I ended up sitting in between Benny and DeNunez.  During the first jump scare I screamed.

 I screamed so loud everyone in the theatre turned their heads at me. I let a nervous laugh out as I heard Benny and DeNunez laugh at me.

 I smacked both of them on the arms before mumbling "shut up". Through out the entire movie Benny and DeNunez laughed at me every time I let out a little squeal. It wasn't even funny, I mean I don't understand why their laughing? I huffed as I exited the room after the movie had finished. 

"Y/n wait." DeNunez said between his laughs catching up to me. I spun around meeting all the boys with an angered look. "What?" 

The rest of the boys giggled as DeNunez spoke. "Seriously, I didn't mean to make you mad. Neither did Benny, or the others." 

"Oh really?" I rose a brow crossing my arms. "Really! It's just funny seeing you jump at the slightest scare." He laughed. 

I rolled my eyes, "Just get lost. I'm going home." I spun around walking towards the exit. Of course I knew they weren't going to let me go home alone. It's like having a bunch of older brothers looking after you, there's nothing you can get away with.

 I walked down the street with the boys giggling closely behind me. At this point I felt like grabbing their tongues and seeing if they can laugh then. 

"Would you guys stop?-" I asked turning around when I suddenly shrieked at Benny bumping into me. I panted as I realized I hadn't hit the hard concrete floor yet.

Benny had bumped into me and held my waist before I had fallen. "Ooo~" The boys all wailed at the sight of Benny holding my waist.

Benny and I both turned our heads towards the group and let out a nervous laugh. Benny helped me balance on my feet before letting go and stood nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Y/n and Benny sitting in a tree-" I interrupted Squints before he could finish that line "You better not finish the rest of that sentence Squints." Squints took a gulp before pushing up his glasses. 

The rest of the way home they each took off down their driveway one by one till it was just me and Benny. 

I had finally made it to the front of my drive way. "Bye Benny!" I yelled jogging up to my door. "Bye!" 

With that I got in the house shutting the door behind me. I sighed at the smell of freshly made dinner. Yay, mom's home.
