The project and bonding

I woke up around ten since it was Saturday. Dan texted me.

D: hey wanna come over to work on the project?
L: Sure be there in 20 mins?
D: sure

Yeah! I have a 'date' with Dan!!!!!!!! I slipped on my really cute diamond blue blouse. I put on a yellow skirt too. I braided my hair like Elsa did in Disney's "Frozen." I didn't want to look too dressy, so I put on my sneakers. I grabbed my crossbody with my phone and wallet and headed out the door. Dan didn't live too far. In fact, he lived just down the street. I walked up to his house and knocked on the door. Dan answered it. "Hello Lily! Come in," Dan said. I came in. Dans house was nice. We went into his basement. "What should our project be?" I asked. "I don't know..." Dan replied. "If only it could be on eating Cadbury chocolate!" I joked. "I know right! Luv the stuff!" Dan replied. "You do? I do too!" I replied. Yes! We have something in common, I thought to myself.

"How about a model rocket?" Dan asked. "Yes! That's perfect! I love astronomy!" I said. "Me too!" Dan said. Now we had two things in common. "We need materials," Dan said. "Should we go to the shop?" I asked. "Sure lets go," Dan said. We walked to the shop.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER FINDING MATERIALS
"Okay, we got the materials," Dan said. For some reason we went into the candy isle. "Look they are having a sale on chocolate! I haven't had English Cadbury. " I said. (Lily is American). "Okay we need to get you some right now then." Dan said. We got some chocolate. After we bought the stuff we went back to Dan's house. "Okay..." Dan said taking a bite of candy. "I think we should build the stand today and the rocket tommorrow." I said. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea," Dan replied. Dan handed me a chocolate bar. "Take a bite! Take a bite!" Dan cheered. "Okay," I said. I took a bite, and it was amazing. "This is amazing!" I said. "I told Ya" Dan said.

We started to work on the stand. "It's getting late. I better go" I started. "It's dark outside," Dan said. "Yeah I know... It's very different in America." I said. "I'll walk home with you just to be safe," Dan offered. "Okay," I replied. As we were walking to my house, we didn't realize we weren't on the sidewalk. Dan suddenly tripped on a tree root. (don't you hate that?!). "Dan! Are you okay?" I said. "Yea," Dan replied. When he stood up I noticed a few scars. He was bleeding. "Dan you're bleeding. Come to my house and I'll get the first-aid kit. When we entered the house Dan sat in a chair. I turned on the lights. Mom left me a note. 'Dear lily I have to go on business for a few days' it read. I set it down and grabbed the first aid kit.
I went back over to Dan. He had a cut on his arm. "Okay. Here. Use this to clean it," I said handing him a wipe. He wiped the cut. I put a bandage on the cut. "Thanks Lily," Dan said. "No problem." I replied. So after that Dan left so I decided to get some shut eye.
