"Wh-what?" Lucy stutters

"Si. Look we're only telling you this because you've been there for Lexi, and we dont want to lie to you. In order to be safe you need to know" Papa starts looking serious

"What are you saying?" Jason sits up straighter looking directly at dad

"We're in the mafia" Papa bluntly says

"Roberto" Mum whisper scolds

"Wait what" Jasons eyes widen flicking between me and papa

"Lexi" Lucy hesitates

"Just listen" I smile

"Papa was the capo before me. We lead the Italian and the British mafia. Its all one. So we're pretty huge. We don't do sex trafficking or anything like that"  Michael starts

"So basically what you says goes? You've got a large amount of power?" Lucy questions

"Absolutely. But don't worry this would never be used for you. There is a large amount of respect for you and your family. Your all safe and under our protection"

"Under your protection?" Jason asks raising an eyebrow

"It's no secret Jason. We've just told you we're a huge mafia. Yes we're powerful but there are still some dicks who love messing with us. Obviously they don't get away with it but its better bing safe then sorry" Nik speaks up

"Look" Michael takes over "Lexi is our sister. Shes part of our family-"

"She shouldn't be involved" Jason interrupts " Your a powerful family. I know you'll always protect her. I mean im not happy about this. But I- i know shes in safe hands. " He sighs "but she doesn't get involved in Mafia shit"

I smile softly as everyone agrees.

I get up and as i do all eyes are on me. I slowly walk to Jason and take a seat next to him oulling him for a hug "You've always protected me Jase. Now we have lots of people protecting us" I wink at him

"How long have you known?"

"Since we went to Scotland for their anniversary party"

Jason and Lucy look shocked "Oh wow. Okay."

I shiver at their faces "Jase, I couldn't say anything then"

"It's okay" Jason sighs "I get it"

"So what happens now?" Lucy asks "I mean do we just pretend like we don't know your in the Mafia. An-and is it even okay for Lexi to be around you. I mean a couple months back what happened with Dam-"

"We know what happened with Damon" Nik cuts off Lucy. This shocks me though

"Wait what" I raise an eyebrow

"Lex, we helped Damon be free." Luca grabs my hand 

"How did you even kn-oh never mind your in the mafia that shouldn't even surprise me"

"Sweetheart" Mum gets up and kneels next to me "Remember when we were in Brazil. There was that cop"

I think back and my eyes widen in realisation

"We heard. We also knew you were somehow involved. Yes we went behind your back but it was for the right intentions. I'm so sorry babygirl"

"I'm not pissed." I smile " You helped both of us without us knowing. I appreciate that. Thank you." I give her a hug

"I'm glad you aren't mad at us Sweetheart" Dad speaks up "What Nik was saying is your safe with us regadless, we will always do whatever it takes to protect you and our family" 

I nod smiling softly at him

"Thats all we want. Lexi to be safe and happy"  Jason smiles.

"Now. I believe we have some work to do. Nik, Luca my office." Michael gets up slowly 

"What's wrong?" Dad asks

"Canadians" Michael says holding his glass up 

"I'm coming." Dad says his eyes turning into slits

We all watch silently as the guys make their way out the room

"Who are the Canadians?"

"They've been really messing with us" Laura starts getting comfortable "They were the ones to shoot me actually, and now the Russo men are going to end them once and for all." 

I laugh out loud at Lucy and Jasons reaction

"Anyways, shall we discuss you moving to London?" I smile
