I stand up quickly "What" I panic

"Sit down Alexa. Let us explain" Roberto demands softly but sternly

I take a seat and look at Laura to elaborate.

"I'm not lying I swear honey, remember when we came over yours, i think it was the first time. I told you the boys were very protective of you.They see you as a little sister they lost when they were younger"

I hesitantly nod

"I wasn't wrong. They did loose you. We all did"

"Bu-but what, how, an-and how do you even know i'm your daughter?" I stutter.

"Because of your tattoo" Roberto smiles

I raise my eyebrow "What?" Roberto motions to my wrist

"When we first met you in Brazil, we were with your Uncle Rick, do you remember?" Michael starts

I think back to the day and my thoughts on when i first saw them

"Yeah"

"We saw your wrist. Look" One by one Michael, Domininc and Luca show me their wrist.

It's got the same tattoo as mine. I look between mine and them and look up

"When we were younger I made the design, then I thought it would be nice to get it on all of us. Kinda like a sibling thing you know"

"We did a DNA test, your our daughter" Roberto whispers, tears leaking out his eyes. I look at Laura and shes covering her mouth, tears coming dwon her face too.

"And your my twin!" Luca adds smiling

My eyes widen "What!"

"Look into my eyes, tell me you don't see yourself, you dont see familiarity, you don't feel a connection" Luca walks closer to me.

"I - I the first time i saw you it looked like i was staring at myself" I whisper.

"Here" Dominic hands me a piece of paper. I take it and skim through.

i'm their daughter.

I sob harder and feel someones arms wrapping around me

"Hush baby, don't cry"

Laura rubs my back as i keep sniffling. It's a lot to take in. What the hell.

"I need to sit down" I whisper

"Here darling" Roberto pushes the chair closer to me and i take a seat.

"Its a lot to take in. I still can't believe it" I sniff

"Neither can I. I thought we lost you" Laura sniffs.

We sit in silence for a few minutes

"how do you feel?"

"I'm okay, still processing" I sigh

"Did you know you weren't biologically theres?"

I nod "I did. Only after my parents died though."

"How?"

"My aunts ex, he was a real bitch. He wanted to cause trouble and told me."

"How'd you take it?" Michael asks

I sigh " It didn't affect me. My whole life they've treated me like blood. I've never felt like i wasnt theirs. Hell I was spoilt as heck."

"I'm so so glad sweetie, I'm glad you got a nice loving family when we couldn't be there for you." Laura smiles wiping a tear away.

"What happened. You said you lost me. What does that mean?"

"What were you told? How your family found you?" Nik asks

"They found me in the middle of the road. Crying. They found me and went to the cops, they did everything they could to find out who my family is, they even had it on the news"

"We were kidnapped then. We had no clue" Roberto gritts out

"Oh"

"Then they kept you?" Michael asks

I nod "they did"

"Who took me"

"Rivals"

"Rivals?"

"Enemies of ours. They're dead now, we killed them" Nik shrugs

"You what" my eyes widen

"Dominic" Michael hisses

"Lexi, these people were ruthless, they killed my mother, your grandma, they took you away from us. They took all of us captive, put Laura in a fucking coma. we're the Mafia kings, Nobody would get away with that"  Roberto seethes

"Amore" Laura wraps her arms around Roberto

"I'm okay" Roberto closes his eyes and opens them again looking directly at me

"I'm sorry"

I nod and give him a closed smile "I guess I understand"

"You do" Laura and Luca say at the same time.

"I guess" I sigh "They hurt your family, you had the power to do something about it and you did."

Laura comes over to where im sitting and pulls me up for a hug "Come here love."

I see over Lauras shoulder Roberto wiping his eyes, jaw locked, almost like hes scared to show emotion.

In that moment i make a decision. I stretch open my arms for Roberto and nod. I smile when his eyes widen and he rushes over getting into the hug with Laura and I

It doesnt feel right to call them mum and dad. Not yet atleast.

"What about us?" Luca moans

Laura and I laugh and move around so the boys can come in.

Dominic and Michael make their way over. Dominc staying where he is

"Shit. I just realised your my brothers!" I exclaim

"What a idiot" Michael mutters

"Hey" I pout " Not even been 5 minutes since it's been revealed we're family and your already calling me names"

"Say that again" Laura whispers

I turn towards her "What"

"Family"

I give her a small smile and whisper " We're family"
