(NOTE THIS STORY IS A REWRITE)
First day of my sophomore year of high school. (There are separate schools for the different years in high school). I walked into the school. I went to my locker and got my books. I was walking to class when I tripped on my shoelace. I caught myself, but my books dropped. Another student picked up my books. "Carful there," he said, handing me my books. "Yeah. Stupid shoelaces," I said. We laughed. "I'm Dan," he said. "I'm Lily," I said. "Where you headed?" Dan asked. "Room 7A," I replied. "Me too! Maybe we could find it together," Dan said.
So after walking to class, it turned out that science was in 7A. The teacher asigned seats and lab partners. It turns out that Dan was mine. He looked cute. "Looks like we are lab partners," he said, sitting next to me. "Yea! What luck!" I said.
TIME SKIP AFTER SCHOOL
"Hey, see you tomorrow," Dan said, walking out of school with me. "Yea," I said. I went home and slept because I was really tired. Dan was cute. Really cute.
