Chapter 48: The Day Before

My nerves are running as high as someone walking a wire tied between the Empire State Building and the Lotte World Tower. Believe me, it's not something you'd want to experience. I haven't seen Chan or the members since yesterday and it's making me so nervous, not knowing where he is, especially with him on the loose. I wouldn't be able to bear it if-

"Y/N, you're doing it again." Amber snapped me out of my trance.

"Doing what?" I ask her, lying through my teeth. I know exactly what I was doing.

"Doing that overthinking thing, girl! You know that the last time was a set up and he would never do that willingly." Nayeon reminded me.

I nodded slowly, reassured but still anxious for what tomorrow would bring. 

*( CHAN'S POV)*

I am so nervous for tomorrow, but I haven't been this confident in a decision since the day I took Lix under my wing. She means the absolute world to me, and I am so happy she has Nayeon, Amber and Jimin to watch over her. Meanwhile, the boys and I are out at a karaoke bar, singing our hearts out to Sorrikun and other songs that both are and aren't ours. Y/N was a key point in creating the choreography and clearly it's working Y/N has killed it so far, and yet I'm still so worried about her. I constantly feel the need to protect her from him, especially with it on the loose now.

Anyways, I am so excited for our official day tomorrow, especially since I don't know what we'll do or what tomorrow brings.
