Kira's P.O.V

Madison glances at me, and smiles. Micheal is pacing.

The dead bodies litter the floor, and a strong, metallic smell fills the room.

One of the bodies is Cerys, her blood staining the floor around her.

I don't recognise the others. Some of them have died in such horrific ways that I can't even make out their faces.

Madison says that it's okay, I'll understand later.

But how can I understand why so much death is needed?

How can anything bright emerge from this?

I'm stuck here, forever, with blood on my hands. And some of that blood is the blood of my own friends.

Ellis and Cerys. I killed them.

Gray and Amelia are still downstairs I think. Neither of them know I killed Ellis.

And neither of them will ever know.

Because they'll both be dead before they can accuse me of anything.

Anyway, why would I kill my own best friend?

They have a lot to find out. But they won't find it out. Not before they die. Not before the both of them join this scattering of bodies upstairs.

I find myself smiling.

All will go to plan.

All will end well.

All will end in my favour.

This little trick is going better than I thought. Everything is working out.

Just those two to go.

Just those two to go then I can be happy.

Just those two to go then I can be free.

And Madison, she won't even have to help me. She would be proud.

I just need to get rid of Amelia and Gray.

Easy.
