Chapter X

We froze. I felt my eyes widen as I scrambled to wipe my mouth and rushed to sit on the couch in the booth as Bakugo hurried to properly clothe himself. I gestured for him to answer the red head and he flipped me off before clearing his throat.

"Yeah yeah shitty hair I'm in here. What did you need?" He barked to his friend. At this Kirishima tried to open the door but found it was locked.

"Uh bakubro? Can you unlock the door?" The male questioned. I chuckled and got up to unlock the door. Bakugo pushed me back onto the couch and did it himself. Kirishima stumbled in slightly with 2 drinks in his hands and seemed shocked to see me. I waved sheepishly at him and gestured for him to pass me a drink.

"Woah...you two in the same room not going at each other's throats? Who are you and what did you do with my friends?" He joked as he passed it to me. Bakugo grumbled at him and flopped onto the couch on the other end, far from where I was sitting. Kirishima hopped in between us, putting one arm around us both brining us in for a hug.

Bakugo and I both scowled in protest and groaned. We heard a sniffle and looked up to see Kirishima tearing up. I rolled my eyes as I prepared to listen to the same speech he made every time he was drunk.

"You guys are amazing. I've always known I would have the best of friends. But I never knew I would meet them so soon, and that they would be so manly. If you guys ever need anything I would do it in a heartbeat." He started sobbing at the end. I sighed and patted his back, while wiping his tears.

"You're amazing and manly too Kiri, don't worry." I said while Bakugo struggled to escape Kirishimas iron grip. He growled out "Fuck off shitty hair, and stop getting sappy."

The door creaked open again and the rest of the group came in. A very drunk Mina gasped and loudly exclaimed "OMG GROUP HUG!". She then leapt onto my lap, making me let out a large oomph. Sero followed more gently and then Kaminari followed Minas example and plopped onto the now dog pile. I wheeze laughed at their antics, and then proceeded to tickle Mina, prompting a shriek from the pink haired girl.

"I will vomit on you y/n don't test me." The girl threatened and pretended to heave to prove the point. I lifted my free arm in a surrendering motion. "Ok ok my bad, sorry." Mina got off my lap with a humph and sat on the chaise next to the couch. "That's what I thought." She said with a little hair flip.

"If you fuck faces don't get off me right now, I'll blow your asses so far no one will find the bodies for weeks." Bakugo said while narrowing his eyes. Sero got off quickly, moving to sit next to me. Kaminari stayed on us, prompting a swift punch from Bakugo.

"Ow bro, you hit me in the chest, that's kind of sus." Kaminari groaned out as he got up reluctantly. He sat on the arm of the chaise Mina was on, kicking his legs along to the pulsating music and lights.

"So y/n what were you doing in here all alone with Bakugo hmmmmm?" Mina teasingly questioned me. I prayed the lighting would cover my reddening cheeks as I coolly replied "I was helping him sober up." He scoffed at that and I turned to glare at him. "Got something to say? Asshole." I muttered the last part under my breath. Sero heard though, and chuckled, prompting a small laugh from me.

"Actually yeah, bumblebitch I do have something to say." He challenged me. My eyes widened as I made a face that said 'don't you dare'. Bakugo smirked and sat back with a victorious grin. "But I wont. You're not worth the breath.". My heart pinged at the harsh words. But I knew that's just how it was between us, but it stung.

"Yeah whatever." I replied pathetically. I looked up at the ceiling and prayed the rest of the night wound up better than right now.
