Chapter 8. The Reality, It's You

Jimin's POV

I'm currently at the gym, I tried treadmill.

It's been a long time since I've sweat off like this.

But this is a way for me to refresh my mind.

To rethink the situations.

Still, I had no regrets when I made love to Lisa.

I couldn't lie to myself anymore that I in fact cherish Minnie, and that I can't commit.

Because I realized that this whole time, the person that was by my side, the person I could rant my problems to.... was Lisa.

***FLASHBACK***

Author's POV

Minnie was crouching down, holding her hair in frustration.

She was outside their mansion, her eyeliner was smudged and her hair was a mess.

Her tears also flooded down her cheek as she sobbed loudly.

Jimin arrived through a taxi and ran towards her.

Then he saw her parents standing there, looking at their daughter who was emotionally unstable.

"Park Jimin.... we need your help."

They all helped Minnie up as she kept sobbing.

This time Jimin and Minnie's father started to talk in a discreet area.

"Our daughter is suffering from a mental illness... We were just thinking that maybe all she needs is to get healed and that is by having someone to love her."

"But you're her parents... you can love her as much as you want to."

"But that isn't enough... We want her to experience a different kind of love... and especially a love that comes from a guy like you."

Then Minnie's mother walked towards them.

"Park Jimin... can you become a  boyfriend to our daughter so that you can heal her."

***End of Flashback***

Jimin's POV

I stopped as I tried to catch my breath remembering that time.

I forced myself to love Minnie, it felt like an obligation.

Another reason why I agreed was because Lisa wanted me to commit to someone.

When I went for it, and I find Lisa slowly going further away from me, to the point of avoiding me.

That was the moment I realized that she was very precious in my life... That she meant more than a bestfriend for me.

I stepped down from the treadmill, took my spare clothes as well as my towel and went inside the shower room.

Lisa's POV

It was afternoon, and I noticed no presence of Jimin at school.

Right now I'm at the field benches together with Jinyoung and Bambam.

"Where is everybody." Bambam said

"I know right... like bro, Giselle is busy in her club and Minnie is busy in her project." Jinyoung said

"Park Jimin! Bro..." Bambam greeted him as he saw him walking towards them.

I got instantly triggered upon hearing his name.

He stared at me with his bright happy eyes.

and I stared back at him.

We both ended up smiling at each other.

"Excuse me boys... Can I borrow Lisa for awhile." Jimin told them.

"Of course Jimin, you've always been so close anyway." Jinyoung pouted

Jimin could only chuckle. Then he pulled her with him.

This time, wary of their surroundings he brought her to the farthest area at school.

The one near the forest area.

This time Jimin held both her shoulders and kissed her forehead.

Then he embraced her so tight.

"Umm.. Park Jimin, we just saw each other awhile ago." Lisa said.

"Still... I missed you." Jimin said in his raspy voice.

After their hug, both rested under a tree and they leaned on each others backs.

"I'm so tired." Jimin muttered.

"Why? What did the ever almighty Jimin did for him to become so tired."

"Gym."

"Aigooo.. you can rest here." Lisa said.

"Heh. Thanks"

Jiyoon's POV

I hate that project, why do I have to shoot myself in a forest area.

I kept walking finding an area until I saw two familiar people.

I hid behind a tree to see clearly who it was.

And I couldn't believe it in my own two eyes.

Park Jimin and Lalisa??..

Is he being lovey-dovey to her?

I took out my camera and recorded them.

This is so wrong! They shouldn't do this to Minnie.

Moreover, she is her friend.

And I know them very well since I'm their classmate.

I stopped my recording...

I have to send this to Minnie.
