Author's POV

A lot of mascots were dancing, cheerleaders are also creating a formation.

There were a lot of different types of booths on the field area.

Lisa was walking together with Giselle, Jinyoung, and Bambam.

"Hey where the hell are those two people." Jinyoung said.

"I know.. That doesn't mean that when they started dating, they could ignore us.. hmpph!"Giselle said while crossing her arms.

"Look who's jelly." Bambam teasingly told her.

"Shut up." She elbowed him and he groaned in pain.

Lisa was only silent the whole time.. She knew that it was best to just stay in the sidelines and keep her own feelings to herself.

"Hey guys!" Minnie called from afar, she was clinging unto Jimin's arm.

Lisa's POV

Everytime, we're in this situation.. I really want to escape.

But what can I do? It would only make me seem suspicious.

"Hey..." was the only word I can say.

I watched as Minnie and Jimin pecked on each other's lips.

I managed to fake a smile, as if everything was alright.

As if I'm happy for the two of them.

"Umm... I'll be back okay? My other friends called me." Minnie told Jimin and us.

So only the five of us were left.

"Shall we eat from the different booths?" Jinyoung asked

"Yes sure."

We all went together at the field towards the location of the booths.

We ordered a lot from corndogs, cotton candies, ramen noodles, to rice cakes.

At this point, Giselle, Jinyoung and Bambam went together for a ride at the ferris wheel set up.

So only me and Jimin were left.

I could still remember that I'm the only person who goes with him wherever he went to.

"Hey guys! You have been caught." Chaeryoung, our batchmate suddenly placed a handcuff to me and Jimin.

"What the... what is this?" Jimin asked as we are both being pulled by Chaeryoung.

We reached the booth, and there was a girl who was like an astrologer.

Her outfit says it all.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is for our project regarding romantic couples." The girl said.

"I'm sorry but we're not a couple." I told them.

"Yes, guys you seriously have the wrong idea. My girlfriend is out there. She's my bestfriend." Jimin said.

"Oh really? My bad... I'm sorry."

"No it's fine." I told her.

"Anyways, I thought you were a couple.. You looked good together but it turns out you're only friends."

"Why is that?" Chaeryoung who was on the side joined in.

"Oh please.. Lisa? I see her like a little sister."

Now I finally have the answer to multiple questions inside my head.

Questions on why Jimin wouldn't be able to see me as a girl.

A girl that could become his girlfriend.

Because... I'm just like sister to him.

We went out from the booth tent and resumed walking together.

"What was that?" Jimin smiled and scratched his head.

"I know... that was... awkward." I managed to reply.

Jimin kept walking and walking.

I stopped and looked at him as he saw Minnie and smiled.

I felt a huge lump in my throat.

I knew it... I have no chance with him from the very start.

It's time to get over him Lalisa...

I looked down as if discerning about this.

Maybe it's best that we would just be friends..

Then I'll slowly be able to mend my own heart.

"Lisa..." Someone called me.

I turned and it was Chani.

"Chani? What are you doing here?"

I was surprised when he suddenly pulled me with him.

We stopped near the chapel.

"You shouldn't have to endure all that pain." Chani said.

Chani is a friend of mine too, and I've heard rumors around that he has a crush on me.

"Huh? what are you even talking about?"

"Minnie and Jimin.... I know you like Jimin and I could see it through your expressions everytime I pass by."

"Chani... that's ridiculous."

"Will you please stop lying to yourself?"

I looked at him, and my tears started falling.

I crouched down and covered my face with both my palms.

I sobbed so loud, and let out all the emotions I've been bottling up.

Then I felt Chani's warm arms wrapping around me.

Chani, why are you so good to me.

"Lisa... the rumors were true... I really like you.... And I want to give us a chance. Forget that punk."

If only it would be that easy....
