For Tubbo! // C!Ranboo

TW // angst, canon death, yelling, borderline panic attack maybe? 

C!Ranboo's POV 

"now I know I was supposed to be doing something important today. if only I could remember what it was" I think to myself as I take a walk along prime path, stopping dead in my tracks when I hear a high pitched scream 

"TUBBO" I say out loud to myself in a panic as I begin running around looking for him, coming to a stop at the top of a hill 

looking down from the hill I can see sapnap and tubbo fighting 

"he was probably sent by him" I seethe under my breath when I'm suddenly taken out of my thoughts by tubbo screaming again 

my head shoots up and I see tubbo laying on the ground with his arms up trying to protect himself while sapnap stands above him, axe raised and ready to strike 

"no no no no NO" I dart towards the two, desperately trying to teleport so I can get there quicker 

I'm about to give up trying to teleport when everything goes dark and I feel extremely nauseous 

when I feel my feet on solid ground again I open my eyes and see tubbo staring at me with a mixture of shock and fear in his eyes 

"what the heck-" I mutter to myself when tubbo snaps me out of my thoughts with a yell

"RANBOO LOOK OUT" tubbo screams and I turn around to see sapnap raising his axe again but this time his eyes are locked on me 

tubbo grabs his sword and lurches forwards, blocking the attack 

my eyes lock onto sapnap's and rage fills my body so I grab his long discarded sword from the ground and jump into the fight

"GET OFF HIM" I scream and lunge at him while images of Michael growing up without his papa flash through my mind 

I'm in such a blind rage that I don't feel the sword in my hand plunging into sapnap's chest 

almost as soon as it began, everything stopped 

I stand over sapnap's lifeless body, I'm covered in blood and breathing heavily 

my eyes widen with the realisation of what I just did hitting like a ton of bricks

'no no no" I whisper to myself, sword falling to the floor "oh my god" 

I collapse next to sapnap in a heap, my head in my hands 

"what have I done?! he's gonna be so upset with me" I sob into my hands, not even caring that the salty tears are burning my face as they roll down my cheeks "sapnap I'm so sorry I'm so so sorry"

"ranboo!" tubbo calls out in a panic when he sees me sobbing on the ground 

"ranboo it's ok!" tubbo tries to reassure me 

"I KILLED HIM TUBBO!' I snap "HOW IS THAT OK?!" 

"you were only protecting yourself" tubbo says in a gentle tone as he takes my hands from my face and wipes the tears off my cheeks 

"no I wasn't" I look up at him "I was protecting you" 

"and you did! you did protect me! look!" tubbo waves his arms and legs around "I'm ok! just some cuts and bruises that's all!" 

I flash a small smile at him 

"let's get you cleaned up and home to Michael ok?" tubbo offers his hand to me to help me up "Michael is gonna want to know where his daddy and papa are" 

"ok" I croak and take Tubbo's hand

"I love you boo. no romo though" tubbo smiles at me 

"you're such an idiot bo" I laugh gently, the day's events already becoming a distant memory ________________________________________________________________________________

this one physically hurt me to write 

I got the idea for this one last night so I wrote some notes for it 

the notes (after some editing) ended up being 332 words

I actually really like how this one turned out!
