Chapter 1. Just A 'Friend'

Author's POV

Lisa was looking around, sitting on the bleachers with her books on her lap.

She looked at her watch and it was already past 9 am.

"Hey I'm sorry!" Jimin came running and panting.

"Yah Park Jimin!.. We're seriously gonna be dead."

"Who cares.. how about we'll just skip this class?" Jimin grinned as he pulled Lisa to stand up.

"Yah Are you crazy? Aish jinja." Lisa said.

Then Jimin wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Lisa's POV

As soon as Jimin wrapped his arm around my shoulder, I couldn't help but feel tingles all over.

I have always loved him.. more than just a best friend.

But, will he ever see me the same way I see him?

I couldn't help but wonder. I guess I'll just keep hiding this lingering feelings for him.

"Come on! Let's just skip class jebal?" He pouted cutely as we walked together, his arm still around my shoulder.

"Park Jimin.. I can't believe I met a bad influence like you."

He eyesmiled naughtily, with eyes begging me to say yes, and so with that cute face of his I had no choice but to agree.

We ended up skipping class together.

Author's POV

[LOUD MUSIC PLAYING]

Night Time....

A lot of people were dancing, some were playing beer pongs.

While others gobbled up an entire bottle of beer.

Lisa sat down in one corner with a glass of Raspberry Smoothie on her left hand.

She watches as Jimin introduces himself to other girls.

She just rolled her eyes and stood up trying to find a distraction.

When she went towards the salad bar.. her heart ached upon seeing Jimin holding hands with the girl he just met.

Lisa's POV

It's very difficult to be around him this whole time.

I feel like my heart is being crushed into several pieces.

I followed him and the girl and I saw how he kissed her at the back garden.

I wanted to go home.

But what can I do? I am his bestfriend and I can't just let this become a hindrance in our relationship.

Jimin's POV

After I kissed the girl, she blushed and smile.

I know for a fact that this will not last.

I am Park Jimin... I don't like to commit unless I really like that person.

But this girl, I know that she's only meeting me because she's lonely.

"That was awesome." She smiled.

"Yes. Excuse me." I excused myself.

It's time for me to leave as I'm getting bored.

I have to find Lisa.

Where is she anyway?

I went back as to where I left her to sit but she was nowhere to be found.

I dialed her on my phone and fortunately she answered.

"Where are you?" I asked her.

"Oh.. I'm not feeling well. So I went home ahead."

"Get well soon.. See you tomorrow at school." I told her before ending the call.

When I turned around, I saw the girl I just kissed and she bit her lip.

I couldn't resist it, so I pulled her with me.

Author's POV

[THE NEXT DAY]

Lisa was getting a drink from a vending machine when she saw Jimin with another girl this time.

He was laughing with her and eventually Jimin looked at her.

"Yah Lalisa... let's just go together at the classroom. Meet Naeun, she's a new girl I'm interested in."

"Nice to meet you." Lisa said dryly.

"Great...now shall we go?" He asked.

Lisa nodded as if she was left with no choice.

This time they were climbing up the ramp, and she was behind Jimin and Naeun.

In short, she was like a thirdwheel to the two of them.

Park Jimin.... will you ever see me as a girl?... Lisa thought to herself.

She couldn't take it anymore.. she stopped in her tracks and retreated when Jimin and Naeun were already far enough.

She just couldn't stand to see them, and her emotions couldn't be hidden anymore.

She instead sat on an empty chair.

Park Jimin..... goodluck with her... She thought to herself.
