Chapter 10 (Can't avoid you much longer)

For the whole day Serena avoided me. For the first time I actually wanted a girl's forgiveness and attention. I was totally desperate.

Serena's POV

It's been a week since I've stopped talking to Brett and it seems like forever. Who am I f*@king kidding?  I still love him. I really miss him. Was he speaking the truth? Could Lindsey had lied to me? All these things I pondered. I looked on my phone and saw 88 text messages and 23 missed calls from Brett . I sighed feeling confused. I missed his soft pink lips that took my lipginity (lip virginity ). The feel of him hands caressing my breast,  his beautiful smile that warms my heart and most of all being able to looked into his dreamy hazel eyes.

I made my way down stairs and on to the verandah. I sat on my swinging chair and started thinking about Brett and the way he makes me feel. My mom came on to the verandah and plopped down beside me.

"Are you OK baby? "She said, "you look worried. "

"Did you love dad mom?"I asked leaning on her shoulder.

"Yes baby."

"Do you still love him?" I asked.

"Yes, even though your father died, I will always love him. "

"When a guy messes up and really was to explain and keeps messaging you and calling your phone. What should you do?"

"Give him a chance and hear him out. Everyone deserves a second chance. " she said. "If you love something then you let it go and if it comes back to you then it was yours ,but if it doesn't then it wasn't and it wasn't meant to be." My mom got up and smiled at me. She went back inside.

At school while sitting in class I couldn't help noticing Brett staring at me. I thought about What my mom had said. I swallowed my pride and uttered " Hi Brett ."

He look at me puzzeled."Hi Serena. "

I was expecting more from his reply. "I miss you."

"Serena.... stop it, "he retorted "you didn't miss me because I texted you like a million times and called you a billion times."

"I was afraid to reply or answer. "

"Afraid of...?"

"Look Brett I'm so sorry I didn't give you a chance to explain .I was angry and pissed off. I saw your message and I believe you that Lindsey lied. I really love you and my has been hell avoiding you.  I miss you, I missed your smile, I miss staring into your hazel eyes . I want you..."he interrupted me.

Brett kissed me abruptly in the middle of class. I felt my heart melt and a shiver down my spine. Everyone was staring at us and even Lindsey with her mouth wide open. The teacher smiled at us and blushed. After about 6 or 7 minutes of locking lips and sucking out each others soul. The teacher shouted, "alright the enough you too!"

We stopped and I turned around in my seat blushing like an idiot. I went to heaven and back. I turned to Brett and whisper, "There's really something about you. " 

He said, "I know babe and There's something about you too."

I just sat back and enjoyed class.
