Fade ran a lipgloss over her lips to complement the look she was donning on for the party. Since yesterday night her class WhatsApp group have been going on and on about the party. Jeremy offered to pick her and drop her back home after she declined Kate's offer to drop her off.

She picked up her bag and phone before dialing Jeremy to tell him she was done and waiting for him. She watched from her room's window as a limo stopped in front of their house, Demi got down and he hugged Kate briefly. Then he asked her something and she shook her head, she watched how his face fell before they both got into the limo.

Not log after they left, Jeremy pulled up at the gate and Fade grabbed her bag before hurrying outside so she won't delay him. He whistled when he saw her and he bowed dramatically in front of her. She laughed at his theatrics before getting into the front seat of his car and he sat in the driver's seat.

"I honestly have a bad feeling about this party, I feel like this is where a lot of things will go mad" Jeremy said after a while and Fade couldn't help but nod in agreement. She was feeling it too but she didn't want to ghost the birthday girl who took it upon herself to invite her personally. Plus whatever will be, will be.

"Whatever happens at this party, promise we'll still be friends?" Jeremy asked and he put out his free hand to Fade who shook it.

"Friends forever, no matter what happens and we will solve it all" Fade replied and Jeremy blew a kiss at her. Fade connected her phone to the car's Bluetooth and she started playing Naira Marley's new song. She and Jeremy started having their own mini groove in the car before they got to the party.

Jeremy drove into the parking lot of the building where the party was going on and Fade whistled at the luxurious outlook of the place. She could never get over the fact that people spend a whole lot on decorations.

Jeremy got down first and he went to open the door for fade, a lot of their classmates noticed them and fade started regretting coming with Jeremy because of the looks she was being given. She felt cheap but Jeremy squeezed her hands on assurance and they walked in together.

Soon the stares shifted gradually from her to those who just arrived and she started to feel the vibes of the party. The Dj was doing an amazing job and Fade couldn't resist joining her classmates on the dance floor. Jeremy was a perfect match for her energy as they faced each other and started to dish the dance as e dey hot.

Spooning yeh yeh
Missionary ooh ooh
Doggy Style
Cow Girl
Are you coming?
I am coming

The crowd went wild and Fade bent down to twerk, Jeremy took two steps back as he cheered her on. Everyone stopped to watch as Fade took charge of the dance floor, no one has ever seen her dance like this before and it felt like some kind of magic to them.

When the Dj switched the tempo to a slow song and everyone started finding partners, Fade left the dance floor in search of the refreshment corner. Jeremy followed her fast and when they got to a point, Jeremy stopped to speak with someone. Fade proceeded alone because of how patched her throat was.

"Fadekemi Queen" someone called and she stopped in her tracks. She'd be damned if she didn't know who it was and she hated how much she had missed that voice. She turned around to find the devil himself leaning on the wall and his hands in his pocket. She didn't get a clear view of him by her window but right now, he looked too hot to handle.

He left the leaning position he was standing and he walked close to her. Fade's breath hitched in her throat as her whole senses became aware of the close proximity between them.

"Ajoke mi, I've missed you. Everyday I want to reach out to you but I keep on seeing that boy with you. Ajoke why are you doing this to me, why do you want to break me?" He asked in a low whisper and he cradled her face in his hands. Fade wanted to shrug his hands off or worse push him away but she could not do any thing of such as she enjoyed the skin to skin contact with him. She has missed him so much.

She opened her mouth and closed it back repeatedly without finding a word to say to him. She so much wanted to tell him she missed him too or she didn't mean to do this to them but the words won't form.

"Can we talk about this after the party? Can we talk when you're comfortable. Fadekemi please just listen to me, I so much want to say things to you. Please just hear me out" He pleaded and Fade nodded her head. She would rather talk about this far from their classmates prying eyes and the loudness of the whole place

"I..." Fade cut his speech off when she pressed her mouth to his. She didn't know what came over her or prompted that decision but one thing was that she didn't regret it one bit. He was shocked but he soon recovered from it as he pulled her closer and took charge of the kiss.

I had to break this chapter into two because it would've been too long🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️
