Chapter 23

I look at Lisa again, and she's busy cleaning the tables.

Well, Seulgi wants to eat here late for lunch earlier, so I told her its my treat. Gusto ko rin naman makita si Lisa eh kaso mukhang nagsisi lang ako.

Daming malalandi sa lugar nato.

"Anyways, are you gonna stay here? Or sumabay kana sakin pauwi?" Seulgi asked then drink her water.

"I'll wait for Lisa. Ilang minuto nalang din naman mag a-out na siya." She chuckle.

This girl is teasing me again.

"You're into her, Kim." She uttered, and I couldn't protest.

Its fine being friends with Lisa, but I can't deny that I feel something for her already.

"Why don't you tell her?" She suddenly asked.

"Tell her what? Its still useless. I'm going back to New Zealand two weeks from now." I said.

"Edi, inamin mo rin." She said at di nalang ako humindi.

Bakit ko pa idedeny kung totoo naman?

"Fine, but please keep it. Ayokong masira yung kung anong meron kami ngayon. I'll just set this feeling aside." I said, she took a deep breath.

"Bahala ka. Don't blame me kung mahuli na ang lahat." She said, and I don't like it.

"Come on, Kang. Baka nakalimutan mong malapit mo din namang di makuha si Irene." I told her, she just raise a brow.

"What's the connection then?" She asked, I look at Lisa's direction again.

"My point, if you really are meant to be, you're meant to be together, but if not? Then don't force." I told her.

"You're right too. Goodluck to you my friend." I rolled my eyes.

She then sat, then fix herself.

"I'll go now. Thanks for this." She said, then kissed my cheek.

"Take care, Kang." I uttered. She smile then headed outside.

I look at Lisa's direction, but she was no where to be found.

So, I decided to pay the bills through the other crew then called Chaeng.

I just went to the bathroom kasi naiihi na talaga ako eh. Pagbalik ko di ko na makita si Jennie at iba narin yung nasa table nila kanina.

Baka umuwi na rin siya.

I look at the counter's clock, and I only have 15 minutes left kaya mas nag focus nalang ako sa paglilinis nang mga mesa.

"Good job, Lis." I look at near the door then saw Ms. Hyeri, and Shin from outside, smiling at me.

I then quickly bowed at them.

"Thanks managers." I told them then smile a little.

Ms. Shin Hye was the one who greeted, and swear she's really nice, and pretty.

I also learn how to smile at everyone kahit di masyadong malapad yung ngiti ko pero natuto rin naman.

"Dude? Ako na dyan. Its already 2:50." Jin told me, kaya tumango nalang ako.

"Thanks dude." I said then tap his shoulder.

I went inside the counter kasi nandun naman yung time in and out namin. I pressed my thumb in the scanner then walk toward Rosie's office.

Tinangal ko na yung hairnet saka cap ko pati narin yung name tag ko, then knock on her door.

The door opened, but then I keep on looking down kasi napunda sa hairnet ko yung pin nang name tag.
