Mr. Ackerman downturned his lips slightly as he observed Eren.

"Dammit, he made it."

Ms. Ral frowned and nudged Mr. Ackerman in the ribs.

The man gave her a toned down side eye and let out a light breath.

"Get in line, Eren. You're late."

"Yes, Sir!"

Eren suddenly stopped fooling around and toned down his enthusiasm, quickly falling in line next to Armin.

"I didn't know Mr. Ackerman was going to be chaperoning..." The brunette whispered over to Armin who merely shrugged.

"Me neither. I didn't think he was the type to volunteer for these kinds of things."

"Ok, now everybody just stand still while I call out names." Ms. Ral shuffled the papers around on her clipboard and found the unmarked attendance sheet. She smoothed the paper onto the board and began.

"Is Armin here?"

The blonde raised his hand halfway into the air as he responded "here!"

"Do I have Marco?"

"Here!"

"Reiner Braun?"

"Here!"

"Sasha Braus?"

"Reporting for duty!" Sasha saluted Ms. Ral with a proud salute, and the woman blinked back in confusion at the girl.

"O-Ok then. Bertholdt?"

The others in line were laughing at Sasha and poking fun at the girl.

"Sasha, what was that all about?"

To which she responded with

"It's my sole duty to eat as much German food as I can. That's the ultimate mission that we've been entrusted with and I won't let anyone down!"

She stated this brightly and Jean shook his head.

"Who the hell would you even be letting down?"

Ms. Ral was nearing the end of the list, and Mr. Ackerman glanced over at the marked paper.

"Lastly, is Y/n here?"

"Yes, here!"

Ms. Ral smiled as she put the clipboard away and into her bag. She brought her hands together and beamed at the stiff students.

"Ok! We're all set, everybody hop onto the bus! Sit wherever you'd like," she and Mr. Ackerman stepped aside and let the students pile into the bus. Right off the bat, Ms. Ral noticed Eren and Jean shoving each other as they walked onto the steps.

"But please don't be too rowdy!" She quickly added.

As soon as everyone loaded onto the bus, Mr. Ackerman stood at the front and crossed his arms in his usual intimidating stance that always had a way of scaring Eren and Jean during baseball practice.

"You kids better behave. I won't hesitate to throw any of you off the bus and onto the freeway if you act up, got it?"

"Levi! Don't say that!" Ms. Ral quickly pulled on his arm and sat him down roughly onto the seat next to her. He grunted at her in annoyance, but she stared back at him with a glare.

"Are you trying to get sued?"

"You forget, Petra. I don't give a damn."

The next few minutes were spent with the bus driver explaining the rules and the procedures in case of an emergency, and with that out of the way, the bus started its hour-long journey to the fancy German restaurant that was tucked away a good distance into Marley.
