PERHAPS ALL that is needed is a little push (no literally an actual push). After one frivolous shove from her twin, Valencia Black topples on top of Remus Lupin. And so the fantasies turn into a reality of secrecy. How euphoric is their love. A comic book and a push were the catalysts for what was to come next. The forbidden passionate kisses their share in the broom cupboards, the stolen time they spend reading together in the library, the endless eternities gazing up at the stars. He caresses her cheek, she runs her hands through his locks of hair. Perhaps the bittersweet crown does not come from stepping out of her brother's shadow, but from pressing her lips to the boy who has stolen her heart.

REMUS LUPIN is Valencia Black's favourite crime. And it will take more than a miracle to take her brother from depriving her of his touch. But some miracles do come to pass.

‌‌ ━━━ this is what i get for listening to olivia roderigo's new album on repeat while writing this fic. honestly i've never played around with a fic that deals with so much lust and fantasy such as this but i think it's enough especially when coming to a story where sirius black as a twin sister

‌‌ ━━━ i know that you asked for her name to be monica but the first name that came to me when i was writing this plot was valencia. it just sounds old-timey and definitely some time of name that would be thrown around in the noble house of black family tree so i just had to incorporate it in the fic because i truly love how classy it is

‌‌ ━━━ yeah so obviously valenica has it in for sirius. she's like jealous that her brother has the spotlight on him all the time. and even though he ran away from home there's still that void when she lives with her and regulus because they both know that sirius is the only one that's on their parents mind even though he's gone. even at school she's always being compared to her brother and it pisses her off so much cause he refers to her as "teenage dirtbag"

‌‌ ━━━ valencia and sirius don't have the best relationship at all. let's be honest here it has nothing to do with her other than the fact that she's jealous that he has the spotlight and he thinks it's cool to make fun of her or whatever because he's the "older sibling" and she just gets shit on by everyone for the good chunk of her school life

‌‌ ━━━ i wanna say that valencia is like this quiet person in slytherin, think like the opposite of sirius in all things. so she does very well in her studies and i guess that's the only thing her professors like about her but don't really say too much about except for the occasional head nod from there and then

‌‌ ━━━ mind you that‌‌ valenica is jealous that this dude gets to live his life to the fullest. she wants to be free like sirius but feels that it would crush her parents to have another child break the rules and let's be honest her whole family is kinda scary and she doesn't have the guts to pull that stunt

‌‌ ━━━ so there comes a point where remus drops his comic book, I'm thinking that this happens like near the end of the fifth year because valencia just so happens to find it and she's all like hey! this seems pretty cool! but to make sure that no one knows she's reading muggle stuff she hides it in the room of requirement to be on the safe side

‌‌ ━━━ she takes it out to library and remus notices this because he's been searching for that comic for a long time and he's like oh that's sirius' sister but he doesn't seem to care about all the stuff his best friend says because remus notices how much valencia is enjoying. thecomings. henceforth the scene where they sit across from each other and read comics

‌‌ ━━━i'm not thinking that there should be like this moment of conversation or whatever. kinda like they both know what they mean in sirius' life and don't want to push that barrier yet but they both think that they're cute but choose to read in peace instead of trying to strike a conversation. it's. a sweet moment that starts the whole infatuation thing

━━━ it's until in their sixth year that sirius pushes his sister once the feast for the start of the school term is over that she falls on top of remus and bam! there is the start of a wonderful relationship where their fantasies become a reality and they basically have a relationship behind sirius' back cause why not

‌‌ ━━━ this is the start of a secret but cute relationship. which is ironic since it's not secretive at all. sirius and james definitely did some spying to see what good old money was doing and when they see him make out with his sis he kinda just shrugs his shoulders and is all like cool, my sister isn't psycho like the rest of my fam

‌‌ ━━━ i think it will defiantly be hilarious if they end up coming out to tell sirius that they're dating and he's like chugging down some firewhiskey or butterbeer and he's all like, yeah i know you're not good at hiding stuff from me or whatever. which i guess can be the start of some decent sibling relationship

‌‌ ━━━ about the whole wolf thing, she's not too scared about it. in fact, valenica is the opposite, she's like okay cool. when you have a family that'sa ll pureblood supremacy that follows a dark wizard, there's not too much to be scared of. so for her boyfriend to be a werewolf is literally chill

‌‌ ━━━ aha! here comes the angst! I'm thinking that valenica is like, hey I'm done with this bullshit, i wanna go and run away with remus because why the fuck not i love him and that should matter. but my girl has a little bit of brains and is like oh wait, i'll write a letter just in case things go south because you know what that seems like a smart thing to do

‌‌ ━━━ the angst is that she goes takes a break to get some fresh air and kreacher finds the letter and rats her out to her parents and they're all like hell no you're not running away. and valencia is like shoot how am i going to get out of this pickle

‌‌ ━━━ the last term comes and remus doesn't see valenica at all. she hasn't sent any letters. and not even sirius has heard any word of her. so they're both in the dark about what happened to valencia and it's scaring them both because they both know like why sirius left and stuff

‌‌ ━━━ sneaky regulus black walks by his brother and hands him and remus a letter to which valencia wrote before she was sent off durmstrang (cause there's more dark arts to be learned there and her parents hope that it could be enough to make her lean back to the whole pureblood scheme)

‌‌ ━━━ in the letter to sirius she kinda explains that she's happy that they became friends again and she wishes that their relationship didn't have to end on this note and that hopefully they can kickass together again (like the wonder twins or the maximoff twins)

‌‌ ━━━ and for remus (this can be like the ending) it can explain that she loves him so much and had it not been for the comic book she would have never fallen for him in the first place, telling memories and how much they mean to her, what she likes about him and the final words that can be that he was her "favourite crime"

‌‌ ━━━ so yeah! pretty happy plot with an angsty ending! this is usually a different vibe since normally the oc's i write die but for once i guess they're staying alive so this is a turn of events!
