JJ dragged Spencer to the mall Wednesday afternoon right after school. Instantly she headed to the dress section of the department store and started throwing her selections into Spencer's waiting arms. "Do you really need to try so many on Jay?" Spencer huffed struggle not to drag the dresses across the ground.

"Alright this is the last one, I just want it to be perfect you know?" She softly smiled before finding an open change room and shutting the door behind them.
Spencer placed the dresses on the bench and was about to head out when JJ stopped him.
"It's faster if you just stay in here so I don't need to walk in and out." JJ stated unzipping her sweater.

"But JJ you're going to be changing..." Spencer sputtered.

"It's not like you haven't seen me in a bikini or less before, if it makes you feel better just turn around." Spencer did as he was told and waited for the Okay to turn back round.
Seven dresses later he felt hopeless, JJ was very picky when it came to clothes the odds of finding her perfect dress today was a slim to none chance. But sadly today was the only day the two could go shopping together, soccer tryouts started tomorrow and JJ had to be there, the science club met Friday's after school and Saturday was the game and dance.
"Hey Spence? What do you think of this one?" JJ asked, as the brunette turned he couldn't help but gasp, JJ was wearing the one dress he had picked out; it was strapless and black with a red belt that held a rose on it, the top was sparkly and the bottom had a soft layer of lace over top on it. She was beautiful, not that she never was but Spencer could barely get a word out.
"Spence? Does it look okay?"

"You... You look...perfect." He stuttered causing JJ to blush.

"I don't remember picking this one."

"Well uh I did... I thought it looked nice."

"It looks perfect thank you!" JJ leaned forward to give him a hug, they stood their in silence as Spencer took in her scent 'lavender and vanilla'. "Will is going to love it!" She cheered....
Moment ruined....

JJ was pacing the soccer field waiting for the rest of the members to appear. Majority of the team graduated last year so it was just her and Misty Johns left so the whole team needed to be rebuilt which was why they started tryouts in the fall to get everyone and get ready for the game in the spring.

Once everyone on the signup sheet showed up JJ and Misty sent them to work on drills, they watched carefully trying to choose between the girls.

"What do you think of Lila Archer? Who knew she could play?" Misty said throwing her red hair over her shoulder. "Isn't she dating your friends Spencer?"

JJ almost dropped the pen she was holding, "How did you know about that?"

"It wasn't really a secret, well they tried to make it one but everyone already knows, they were making out backstage last year during the Sweet Charity production and Bobby Smith caught them and told almost the entire school, I asked her about it over the summer and she admitted it.

"I can't believe her!" JJ screeched scratching Lila's name out on the list.

"Woah JJ calm down here. We need her on this team." Misty tried to explain.

JJ closed her eyes for a moment she could feel a headache forming. "Yeah, you're right I'll just talk to Spence when I get home..."

JJ entered the Reid's apartment, she had gone home first and found he wasn't there so JJ guessed he just went home. "Spence?" She called into the empty combined living room and Kitchen. "I think we need to call about Lila!" She called out again. Suddenly a hand reached out grabbing JJs wrist.

"Who are you?" Diana Reid commanded.

"Diana it's me JJ." The blonde tried to soothe the woman.

"JJ? No! JJ is only four years old! So I'll ask you again who are you? You're...you're not trying to take my son away are you? Because I'm okay! And my husband is still at work so my son is at his friends house, you know Jennifer's so, so he's not alone with me there is no need to take him!" Diana cried still holding onto JJ's wrist.

JJ herself was holding back tears, carefully she moved Diana onto the couch. JJ sat beside her and took the older woman's hands. "Diana I promise you no one will take Spence away from you okay? He's a great boy and you deserve to have a son like him, so smart and full of personality." JJ couldn't help but smile at her own words. "He loves you and no one can ever take that away from him."

Diana patted JJ's face. "You remind me of JJ, for a four year old she is incredibly smart and beautiful, I hope she turns out to be like you when she grows up."

JJ smiled and headed to the door. "It was great to see you Diana."

It's short I know I'm sorry, I've just been really busy but enjoy!
