Scam Pool Honey's

"Who is she?" Matt asked mouth dropped open.

"T-that's Wendy Peffercorn. The hottest girl in here." Timmy said in awe.

The boys and I just stared as she put sunscreen on, nothing to attractive. Squints finally spoke up, "I've swum here every summer of my adult life." He paused taking off his glasses wiping them with his hand before placing them back on his face, "And every summer, there she is, lotioning, oiling, oiling, lotioning, smiling. Smiling!"

She looked our way with a small smile plastered on her face. "I can't take this no more! Move!" he began dog paddling towards the ladder. 

I followed the swimming Squints with my eye's and watched as he started climbing the ladder. "What's he doing?" I asked looking at the boys still starring at the woman. 

The boys finally shook out of their trance and looked over at me and then towards Squints. 

"I dunno." Kenny said squinting his eyes at Squints trying to see past the sun. Squints was walking towards the diving board, as soon as he got real close he gave a funny smile at us. 

He turned towards the diving board and started walking to the edge of it smiling and waving at the lifeguard. "Oh! He's just diving, probably going to show off his 'mad' skills." I laughed. The boys all looked at each other than at me with shocked faces.

"Squints can't swim!" They all yelled. I turned my attention to Squints who just jumped in. 

"Squints!" I screamed swimming as fast as I possibly could towards the ladder. They all started screaming his name and followed behind me. 

The lifeguard in the red bathing suit noticed our screaming and threw off all her accessories. She dove in, I could see her red bright bathing suit at the bottom of the pool. By the time she reached the surface me and the boys were already on the pavement looking over.

Two men (also were lifeguards) helped the women place Squints on the pavement. They quickly helped pull her out of the water and started telling her the presager. 

"Never mind that." She quickly said hushing them. She placed her mouth on Squints, pushing her breath into him. She then quickly turned to his chest searching for a heartbeat. 

Everyone waited while repeating "Squints! C'mon Squints."

Smalls yelled out, "C'mon Squints! You can do it! Pull threw bud!" I could feel my heart sinking, I can't loose someone else.

"Come on, man! Come on!" Benny shouted followed by Yeah-yeah. "Yeah, yeah he looks pretty crappy." 

The young woman went to his chest again to hear his heart beat. "Squints! Come on, man!' Tommy yelled. "Oh god, he looks like a dead fish." Bertram interjected. I gave him a 'not funny' glare that made him shut up. 

Suddenly they were all making confused noises and saying, "What?". I quickly turned my attention back to Squints seeing his eye's open and a huge smile on his face. The lady came back up to his mouth and he quickly changed his expression to a lifeless kid again.

As soon as she attached her mouth to his he grabbed her head and held her close. All of our eyes widened in shock, I quickly slapped my hand over Tommy's eyes. I could here the muffling of her voice from in his mouth.

She finally managed to pull out of his grasp and gasped for air. "Little pervert!" She screamed yanking him by the arm.

"Oh man he's in deep shit!" Yelled Timmy.

"Damn! Squints got some nerve!" Matt added in.

 All they boys started yelling and running after the two, I quickly ran to the other side of the pool still shocked on what had happened. 

As I reached all our clothes and my backpack I noticed all the people were starring at me. I quickly threw on Benny's hat to some what cover my face. I ran as fast as I possibly could while slipping on my shorts.

I reached the gate and saw the boys picking Squints off of the floor, the lifeguard placed her hands on her hips and screamed, "And stay out!" before turning around waking her hair. 

I leaned against the fence and slipped on my flip flops. I started jogging after the boys who were running away. Me and the lifeguard passed by each other, she and me starred at each other for a bit before she smiled at me. 

As soon as we were about to pass each other she whispered, "keep those boys out of trouble." With that she gave a wink and walked off towards the pool gate. 

I smiled to myself and looked back at the boys, all the boys were gone except for one. That one happened to be Benny, he looked me up and down and returned his gaze to my face. He grinned and gave a wink.

I smiled back and started blushing, I quickly shook off the blushing and ran towards him. I reached him and he started, "Like my hat?" 

I made a confused expression when I realized what he meant. I smiled and nodded, "Smells like you."

He laughed shaking his head, "Hope I smell good." I laughed and took off his hat, "Always." I held out his cap with a smile.

"Nah, keep it for now." He said pushing it towards my chest. "Alright. I'll give it to you tomorrow." I looked at him with a big girlish smile.

We were laughing and making jokes on what Squints did that day, Squints sure had guts. Even if I ever liked someone, I don't think I'd ever be able to do something that brave.
