Scam Pool Honey's

Start from the beginning

I finally understood why they had been laughing, they planned this! They somehow knew how I'd react, funny. I scoffed to myself. And stopped as soon as I reached the door.

I turned around and looked at the laughing boys, "I'm gonna get you guys back!" I yelled before running out the door. Especially you Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez.

                                                                                             ...

After a while we had all gone home, Benny and Bertram apologized to me on the way. I forgave them but that didn't mean I wouldn't get them back. Anyways, we all had gone home and planned on going to the sandlot later.

I got out of the shower and brushed my teeth and hair. I quickly picked out an outfit. I was wearing dark blue skinny jeans paired with a cropped light blue t-shirt. I went in my drawer and pulled out a black belt and put it on.

I quickly went over to my bathroom and put on perfume and deodorant. After that I grabbed my mini black backpack and my baseball glove. I ran out of my room, down the stairs and into the kitchen.

I went to the cabinets and searched for a snack. "Matt you coming!" I yelled waiting for a response. "yes!" I said under my breath. I had found a box full of fruit snacks. I grabbed one and closed the cabinet.

I heard footsteps running from the stairs, I smirked. "Ready?" I asked. Matt smiled and rolled his eyes, "C'mon." We both exited the house and started walking to the sandlot.

"So.. What did my mom say?" I asked. I haven't talked to my mom since yesterday. I hadn't seen her at all since I left to the camp out. She was so busy, I wasn't home in time this morning to be able to get a word out.

"She's cool with it." Matt said with a smirk placed on his lips. My eye's widened, "Really?!" I was glad to know my mom wasn't mad. "She understood how difficult it was to talk to her." He said looking to the direction of the sandlot.

Once we reached the sandlot we walked right on in with no hesitation. As we got closer to the dugout Matt spoke up, "It's really hot out today don't you think?". I nodded to his statement, "Yeah it really is."

We hadn't been out for more than six minutes and we were already dripping sweat. "You sure you still wanna play?" He said wiping the sweat off his cheek. I hesitated, Do I really wanna play in one-hundred and fifty degree weather? It doesn't matter what I think... dad would have played. "Yeah, It's not that bad."

Matts eyes met with mine and his jaw dropped. "How?! It's so hot! I'd rather die than be out here!". I smiled, "It's not the worst thing ever."

We finally reached the dugout where all the boys except Yeah-yeah and Squints were. "Hey!" I yelled waving with a wide smile.

"Hi y/n!" Smalls spoke up. All the boys greeted Matt and I, I sat my stuff down and sat beside Ham. I watched as Matt took a seat between Benny and DeNunez.

"Where's Yeah-yeah and Squints?" I perked up. All the boys looked Benny's way in confusion. "Yeah, where are they?" Timmy asked, Tommy repeating.

Benny shook his head, "I'd like to know that too." With that we all of a sudden heard Yeah-yeah yelling at Squints. Benny stood up and walked outside of the dugout to meet with them. Ham and I looked at each other.

I took a gulp of my water and headed after Benny, Ham got up and took his soda with him. As we were walking up to the conversation I heard Benny say, "Where've you guys been? We were waiting here for forever already."

Yeah-yeah stepped closer to Benny and placed the baseball in his hand saying, "Ah, Squints was pervin a dish." With that he stepped back into his place.
