Objection

Her mother had been a judge for as long as can remember and she's met and seen her fair share of alien criminals but this was the only excpetion. When he walked into the court room she expected to see a man that radiated evil but it was opposite.

He was kind and had a gentle smile. Hearing his reasons why he did such a thing made her want to help him after all he had gone through.

"I object." Kara spoke out as Alura gave her a questioning look.

"Speak." Alura said

"I believe we shouldn't imprison Barry Allen." Kara said

"Why?" Alura asked her daughter.

"From our research we found out that Mr Allen is a hero....someone that puts others before themselves. I believe prison is a waste of such traits." Kara explained.

"Kara he disrupted the timeline for his own personal gain. I should be sentencing him to death." Alura said. At that sentence Barry's jaw clenched but he had already accecpted that he might die.

"What if i took responsibility for him?" Kara asked catching Alura's attention, "I will place him under my custody under the authority of the House of El." She said as Alura mulled it over.

"Very well, but should Barry comitt any acts of terror while under your supervision you will be personally held accountable." Alura said as Kara smiled and nodded.

"I won't let you down." She said as the cuffs around Barry's hands were unlocked

"But one counter measure we must take to ensure our safety is that Mr Allen wear a meta damper at all times." Alura said as Kara sighed and nodded. A dampener was placed around his ankle which sealed his speed again.

"Who are you and why'd you save me?" Barry asked as Kara looked over at him and shrugged her shoulders.

"No reason." Kara hummed

"No reason at all?" He asked

"You're more than welcome to thank me by the way." Kara said

"I never asked you to save me. I would of done my time in prison and probably would of died here anyway." Barry answered.

"You wouldn't of tried to escape and go home?" Kara asked

"I'm on an alien planet without my powers. How would i have gone home?" He said as Kara nodded slightly, "Speaking of which, where are we going?"

"Home." Kara responded

Barry's nerd dream had come to fruition once again being able to see more alien architecture and culture. Kara could tell Barry was silently geeking out to himself and let out small giggles.

"What?" He asked

"Nothing." Kara said while stifling her laughs

"Hey, we probably have human traditions that you would find pretty cool as well." Barry said smiling along with her.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Kara asked

"Um....Big Belly Burger." Barry said as Kara burst into laughter, "I'm still thinking okay." He said 

"If we ever go to Earth you have to introduce me." Kara said wiping her eyes.

"That's a promise then." Barry said. As Kara opened the door to the house only for Barry to see Alura.

"I forgot to tell you Barry, Alura is also my mother." Kara smiled.

"Oh...that's....fun." Barry said still wearing a shocked experssion

"Hello Barry." Alura said smiling, "I hope you forgive me for eariler." She said

"Y'know the whole sentencing you to life in prison thing." She clarified as he shook his head.

"It's fine really." Barry laughed slightly as a blonde head peeked around Alura

"Who are you?" She asked

"Barry Allen, he's going to be living her for a while." Kara answered for him as the small girl pouted.

"Idiot." She mumbled before walking away.

"Did i do something wrong?" He whispered as Alura shook her head

"Ellie has trouble opening up around stangers. She'll warm up eventually." Alura said opening the door wider and inviting them in.

"She's always been like that." Kara said.

"Okay.....so basically i'm under house arrest." Barry said swinging his arms as Alura and Kara looked at eachother.

"Yeah....." Kara said, "But i work from home and Ellie refuses to go to school, so at least you won't be alone." She said smiling sheepishly

"Kara can you get started on dinner?" Alura asked as Kara nodded before walking off, "Can i ask you for a favour Barry?" 

"I'm not sure if i can do anyone anything since i'm under house arrest." Barry said

"I can only ask you for this." Alura said as he nodded, "Ellie and Kara grew up as daughters of the House of El and some people hold hostile feelings towards us and they've grown up alone without any friends due to their last name and family. I just ask you treat them like you would anyone else and not like royalty." She asked with sadness lacing her tone.

"Don't need to ask me twice." Barry laughed as Alura looked over her shoulder to see Ellie jumping on Kara's back as she fought back.

"They're both handfuls." Alura laughed.

He was ready to die or spend the rest of his life in prison but seeing Kara giggling with her sister made him smile and made him forget for a moment what he had left behind on Earth
