— 006 ☆ sixth chapter.

since the sleepover, the 8 boys had been able to grow much closer. without the fear of not being able to be himself, yeosang opened up to the the new boys in no time, with his original friends following his lead.

speaking of yeosang opening up, he'd been getting closer to seonghwa as well. after the older had called him cute and not judged him, he couldn't help but fall harder for the black haired boy. how could seonghwa be interested in that? the two had completely different hobbies. well, opposites attract, right?

the two were now walking down the hall to yeosang's locker, just before school was supposed to start. when yeosang came to the school, he noticed seonghwa sitting on a bench infront of the building without his friends. the older greeted him and explained that jongho was sick and mingi was probably just running late, so that's why he was waiting alone. which led to them walking together.

the blonde boy was busy telling seonghwa some type of story from when him and wooyoung had started being friends. he was giggling through the whole thing, at one point he looked like he was about to cry because of how funny the story was.

now, seonghwa wasn't necessarily listening to the story, but rather listening to the younger's voice and studying his features. yeosang's voice was so deep yet soft and soothing, and his giggles sounded like heaven. as for his face, he was just simply beautiful, breathtaking if you will.

how can someone look and sound so good this early in the morning? the black haired male thought to himself.

"uhh, hello? seonghwa?" yeosang said as a pout formed on his lips and he waved his hands in front of the taller's face.

"huh? oh sorry yeos—"

"you were staring," the boy whined a little, "do i still have toothpaste on my lips or something?" he questioned while rubbing around his mouth.

seonghwa's eyes traveled down to yeosang's lips. wow. he quickly snapped back out of it and pulled the blonde boy's hands away from his own face.

"no you're fine— you look great, yeosang." he breathed out while still glancing down at the other's lips.

yeosang gulped as he looked down at their now intertwined fingers, and then back up at the boy, who was still studying his face.

"i— thank you s-seonghwa," he said shyly as he turned away from the older and removing his hand.

seonghwa didn't even notice that he was still holding yeosang's hand, but when the younger moved it away he couldn't help but frown a bit. lucky for him, yeosang had turned the other way already.

"uhh... so have you made any new bracelets lately?" seonghwa said, trying to change the subject since it had gotten a little awkward between the two.

"yeah.. heh.. actually i, uh, made one for you," yeosang said sheepishly, his face turning bright red in the process.

"really? you didn't have to." seonghwa's eyes lit up as he turned to the side to look at the other again.

"i did," he responded back while nodding. he then reached into his hoodie pocket to grab the beaded bracelet for his friend.

the bracelet was decorated with black and white beads, and dice charms dangled from it. it also had letter beads on it that spelled out the word 'mars.'

"i don't know that much about you so i just made one to fit your vibe.. i think? i hope you like it!" the younger said nervously while placing the bracelet in seonghwa's hand.

seonghwa's eyes glimmered as he stared down at the bracelet, before slipping it onto his wrist, "it's beautiful, i love it! thank you." he thanked the other while still examining the bracelet.

"why does it say mars though?" the black haired male questioned.

"oh, because your name backwards is mars. i thought it was a cute nickname..." he replied again this time stuffing his hands into his pockets, and smiling over to seonghwa.

"you're so clever, yeosang." he returned the smile, "next time, could i maybe make a bracelet or two with you?"

yeosang felt as if his face would fall of from all of the blushing and smiling seonghwa had caused him to do that morning, "of course, you are always welcome to."
