Edward pulled up slowly, staying well back from Bella's truck. He still held hands with his rose. All supernatural species were all acutely alert, eyes trained in the shadows of the forest.
Eleanora's ears twitched slightly as she listened for James, but heard that he was miles away. The engine cut off, and Bella sat motionless, as they continued to listen.
"He's not here." Eleanora said tensely. "Let's go." she stated, unstrapping Bella from the seat.
"Alice, Emmett." Edward's voice was a command. The car was now taken over by Emmett, as Alice still sat in the passenger side.
Edward took a hold of Eleanora's hand, waltzing towards the driveway of the house, Bella following behind. The Swan trudged towards her door and entered, thinking of a believable excuse.
Edward and Eleanora watched as she disappeared. Edward instantly turned Eleanora around and claimed her lips, making her inaudibly gasp before her eyes fluttered shut and she kissed back.
They parted, leaning on each others foreheads, gazing into each others eyes.
"Oh, how long I've been wanting to do that." he uttered, before they completely pulled away, fingers intertwined, waiting for Bella.
