I must say, Rothbart has always been an interesting villain, but this version of him really speaks to me. He is rather temperamental and can be very selfish, but I sense a spot of sensitivity and a desire for love. He definitely cares for his daughter, Odille. Also, no matter how many times she rejected him, he would never hurt Odette. He is very intelligent, powerful, great strength, has a lot of enthusiasm, an amazing amount of patience, and he seems rather passionate. I definitely feel a good amount of sympathy towards him. May Asao and David rest in peace.
