Not too many positive qualities about Hopper, but I do find him interesting. Could it be his strength? Maybe it's his ability to take charge. Somehow, it could be forceful nature. He has shown a slight touch of compassion and mercy for others. He does also have some respect for family. He promised his mother on her deathbed that he wouldn't kill his brother Molt, so it shows he loves his mother and he does care for his brother deep down. He may not show it, but you just need to look closer.
