RWBY(this is NOT Fairy tail): Ren x OC

This is a RWBY fan fic so if you don't watch don't read. Also I have other book  and tv references in them, who ever tells me one first gets a follow! Their are three and you have to list what it is and where it's from!

It was a normal day at beacon academy. It was calm and peaceful and team cardinal wasn't being a jerk to fawneces leaving a very happy mercury to read her brilliant mangas. She was reading happily until she saw the most dreaded scene in the whole series. A tear fell from the koala girls eyes. Her grey ears fell slightly. She hid her ears under a hat but she knew there was no point because it falls off constantly. Ruby and yang walk over. "Hey merdy, watcha' read-" yang stopped half way through, appalled by the scene displayed in the book.

"Merdy, are you.... Crying?" Ruby asked.

She nods her head.

"What's wrong." She continues. "Hughes just died....."

Yang had a wtf face and Blake was watching from afar talking to ren, frowned. Nora walked up to the two. "Hey Ren, Blake, watch's doin'?" she asked oblivous to everything as usual.

"Just talking." Blake replied. "Ren, why are you looking at merc- oh..." Realization dawned on her face. "You like her, don't you, I can hook you up you know." Ren looks at her in shock, "You can."

"Of course, what friend would I be if I didn't? You just me be the flower girl at the wedding." His face turns bright red, contrasting with the pink stripe in his black hair.

"I want in on this." Weiss said butting in. "Okay, operation, MerEn!!" Weiss and Nora put their hands in with Blake following hesitantly. Ren put it in last.
Mean while with mercury:

"Let's take you to the cafe and buy you some hot chocolate." Yang said. Just then Weiss walks up to the trio. "Hey, do you have feelings for anyone?" She asked.

Yang and ruby made wtf face then smiled widely. Slowly mercury nodded short, gray hair moving over her eyes.

"Who is it?" She pressured, Weiss was scaring the heck out of her. "R-ren." She stuttered. Then Blake smirked slightly. "Okay, come to our dorm at seven p.m., okay?" She said.
Time skip to seven p.m.

Slowly mercury opened the door and was shoved into the room by Weiss. Quickly was dressed in pink dress and her bangs are put into a lose ponytail on her fore-head. The for opened again and ren came in wearing a tux. "Uh..." His cheeks were bright red and he was so shocked to see mercury in a dress, she never, and I mean never wore a dress or skirt, she bought the boys uniform for goodness sakes! "I was wondering if you wanted to.." Anticipation was shining in her eyes. ".. Go on a date with me?" He held out the flowers and was bright red. Putting ruby's hair to shame. She looked at him and nodded hugging him quickly bright red as well. "Oh, we got you a reservation for two at ba-sing-say 5 start restruant." Weiss says and shoves the two out the door. Mercury banged her fists against the door, "WAIT!!!!! I NEED MY SHOES!!!!!!"she shouted. A sigh escaped ren's mouth. His date was so childish.
