"That girl really is your best friend, isn't she?" Bela laughed as Tyler went upstairs.

"She's the love of my life," I said. "Well, after you, of course,"

Bela smiled and kissed my lips.

"You really think that she'll get your height and not mine?" She asked.

"I'm hoping," I laughed. "She's a hockey player, she can't be five-two,"

"Hey, I'm five-three and you know it," She told me.

"With heels," I mumbled.

"Shut up," She crossed her arms and looked back at the TV.

"C'mon," I kissed her cheek. "I was only kidding,"

"Okay," She laid her head on my shoulder then looked up at me. "You're lucky you're cute, Mathew,"

"Incredibly." I smiled. "You still think I'm cute?"

"Every day," She smiled and laid her head back on me.

My phone buzzed next to me.

Shreya: We're in New Jersey, be there in a bit

I replied quickly, without Bela looking.

Me: Awesome! See u tmrw after Ty's game

"Who is that?" She asked, curiously.

"Shreya," I said, not wanting to lie to her.

"How's she doing?" Bela asked.

"She's good," I said, putting down my phone.

She cuddled up next to me and fell asleep in my arms.

I fell asleep too and didn't go upstairs all night. I woke up as Bela turned on her side, crushing my arm. I checked my phone which was on the charger after I gently moved Bela. It was 5:45. Tyler and I had to leave by 6:30 to get to her game at 7:10. It was a home game, luckily, but Riley and Bela were staying home anyway. I slowly moved off of the couch, getting Bela a pillow to keep her asleep. I went upstairs to Tyler's room to wake her up. I opened the door and the hallway light shone on her. She groaned, putting the covers over her face.

"Ty, wake up," I whispered.

She turned to her side, not saying a word.

"Tyler," I said. "Let's go,"

"Five more minutes," She asked, still with her eyes closed.

"Not gonna happen," I laughed. "I know how this is gonna go,"

"Please," She peeked her face from under the covers.

"Dude, you're already awake," I told Tyler, walking over to her.

"No, I'm not," She shut her eyes.

"Don't make me tickle you awake," I said.

"No, I'm good," She smiled and hopped out of her bed quickly.

"C'mon, Ty," I smiled. "You don't like to be tickled?"

"Nope, I hate it," She said.

Tyler's the most ticklish person I know. One touch on her and she'd start laughing.

Tyler went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

"What are we having for breakfast?" She asked, putting the toothpaste on her toothbrush.

"Anything you want, princess," I smiled at her.

"Can we get Starbucks?" She asked.

"Starbucks?" I asked.
