EPILOGUE

"Kumusta ang new school mo? Musta first day? Maganda rito, sinasabi ko sa'yo! Hindi ka mag-sisisi na rito ka nag-patransfer."

Naka-akbay na sabi sa'kin ni Louise. Kanina pa niya pinag-yayabang ang school 'to na akala mo siya ang may ari. He became literally my tourist guide as he tour me all over the university. Sumakay na lang ako trip niya para maging familiar din ako sa bago kong school.

Hindi naman kasi talaga ako lilipat sa unibersidad na 'to kung hindi ko lang kailangang lumipat ng condo, e. I like long drives, but what I don't like is the traffic that'll encounter in the road everytime that'll I go to school.

"I'll go home." I announced. I removed his hand to my shoulder and continued walking and leaving him. Tinatamad na 'ko. Kanina pa kami panay ang ikot, e.

"Hindi pa tapos ang tour mo! Hoy, Lux! Huwag ka munang umuwi!" Pag-sisisigaw niya. Ang ingay talaga niya kahit kailan. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko siya natitiis simula nung high school pa lang kaming dalawa.

I'll pretend that I'm not hearing him. Para siyang tanga. Tour yourself at huwag mo na 'kong idamay sa pag-iikot mo.

Nakarinig na lang ako na parang nag-kakagulo at napa-lingon ako sa'king likuran only to see Louise lying on the floor, holding his right leg and he looks in agony.

"Ano ka lampa?" I can't believe him. Tinulungan ko siyang tumayo at pumunta kami sa infirmary para gamutin ang sugat niya. He was telling me the direction.

"Ano pong nangyari sa pasyente?" The nurse asked when we arrived at the clinic. I explained what happened and I watched her treating Louise's wounds.

I was all looking to her. She looked beautiful and passionate, especially with her glasses. Ang ganda niya.

"I'll be back in 30 minutes." I announced though she didn't ask. Tapos na niyang gamutin ang kaibigan ko and I went to the cafeteria and bought a canned juice for her. Nilapag ko 'yun sa reception desk with a sticky note to thank her.

I guess.. it's not bad that Louise got into an accident. I was able to meet her.

"Ang unique naman ng name mo." A girl named Kayla complemented my name. Sabi nga rin ng iba.

I looked at the nurse from yesterday who's sitting at siya na lang ang natitira sa kanila na hindi pa nag-papakilala sa'kin.

I know her name because of the nameplate pinned to her uniform, but I still want to hear her name from her.

"I feel like you're avoiding me." I said because that's why I feel. Did I make her uncomfortable?

"I don't know to myself." She answered. Is that possible to not to know the answer within yourself?

"I'm Luxas." I introduced myself.

"I'm Naya." She's Naya. Her first name is Danaya. What a beautiful name.

"Are you and Nasiv are together?" I asked directly to her, feeling a little bit hopeless. They seemed close. What if they are?

"He's my brother." She chuckles, upon hearing her answer and on that moment I feel like I was the most stupid person in the world.

"Gago, pre! Tignan mo in-add ako nung nurse sa infirmary." Louise showed me his phone with a friend request from Naya. What the fuck?!

"May gusto yata sa'kin. Well, she's beautiful pero hindi ko siya type. Pero confirm naman natin siya." Pinag-sasabi nito? Parang gusto ko tuloy siyang tanggalin sa grupo ng business plan namin.
