Naya's Point of View

"Dr. Mallari, I understand that you'd like to raise your concern but can you please use a respectful language?"

"Why? Isn't she a stupid, idiot nurse?" Ngumisi siya at parang hinahamon niya 'ko.

"Dr. Mallari, if you say those words once again I'll make leave in my office." All of this would be nonsense.

"Fine. But I want you to fire her." Mariin niyang sabi. "I can't let that nurse handle my patient and she's practically can't perform a very simple medical intervention. Furthermore, we both know that you're receiving a lot of complaints against her."

"Complaints about her are true, but it's not that much serious. They're natural and simple mistakes, but I understand those as well as your concern, Doc." I sighed. "She was getting scolded by her head nurse too and I will personally talk to her. However, those reasons aren't enough for me to fire her."

"What?!" Galit siyang napa-tayo. "Nurse. Suarez, are you serious? So, you need more reasons? Would a dead patient do?" He scoffed in disbelief and placed his both hands to his waist.

"Dr. Mallari, that's not necessary."

"Nurse. Cruz is still in her initial period as a nurse. Let's say she can't perform that very well but she can still implement a health care. She can do her job without harming any of her patients."

"Are you saying that she will improve?" He raised a brow so I just nodded. Upon seeing me, he scoffed again.

"Huh! I can't believe you. We're medical workers. We're in medical field. Hindi 'to laro na kapag may namatay ay pwedeng mabuhay ulit o kaya kapag may namatay sasabihin mo na, 'I'll do my best next time' that's pure bullshit!" He hissed.

He looks even more mad now.

"Dr. Mallari, I get all your points, believe me. You just want the best for your patients and we all know that you're one of great doctors in our hospital, but please remember that you were once a learner.

"Doctors and nurses are working together for the recovery of our patients. But we're not just only saving lives, we're also educating."

"Regardless of our profession we can educate everyone, only if we just have heart for it. But if you can't see that as a mighty doctor, then at least try seeing that as human being." Sana ma-realize niya ang mga sinasabi ko.
