"I said go!"

"Vanya, I love you!"

Vanya shut her eyes as she remembered her few moments with Allison.

"I heard a rumor..."

"No! Allison!"

Vanya quickly stood up and went to the sink to wash her face. It all happened too fast. She was furious and confused when Allison told her everything. She was conflicted. And with too much stress, anger, and confusion, she did something horrible.

She never meant to do it.

She was blinded by rage.

She never meant to swish her bow and cut Allison's throat.

Vanya sighed and quickly grabbed a towel making Leonard's bag drop. "Shit." Vanya cursed as she placed down the towel and crouched down to grab the bag. A red-colored journal caught her attention so she pulled it out of Leonard's satchel and saw her father's initials. 'RH?'

Vanya opened the journal in curiosity and saw her father's notes about her siblings' powers and abilities. Including hers.

Number Seven

Uncontrollable and dangerous. It is for the greater good that her powers should remain a secret.

There were still more but reading a few words was enough to make Vanya gasp. "Oh, God."

Methods of limiting her power:
• Mood altering medication to keep her sedated.

"Vanya? Let's get goin'." Vanya heard Leonard's voice coming from the living room. Vanya stepped out of the kitchen with the red journal in hand to see Leonard stopped walking and froze by the door with their bags in hand. "Vanya, I can explain."

Leonard slowly approached Vanya as Vanya looked at him in disbelief. "You've been manipulating me all this time?"

"No, that's not true. I'm only trying to protect you."

"From who?"

"From your family," Leonard answered. He was trying to manipulate her again. He didn't want to lose her because she was too powerful. "They're the ones trying to hurt you. Vanya, it's all there, in that journal."

When Vanya didn't say anything back, Leonard continued. "Your father... was afraid of you. That's why he put you on those pills. It wasn't to help you. It was to hold you back. He didn't trust that you were strong enough to control your powers." Leonard dropped his bags and stepped closer to Vanya, holding her shoulder causing her to flinch.

Vanya looked at him with teary eyes while Leonard continued to ramble. "But I've never been afraid of you. I embraced you. I'm the only one who ever accepted you for who you really are. Your brothers and sisters, they went along with him every step of the way."

Vanya stared at him seriously in the eyes. "Who is Harold Jenkins?"

Leonard took a deep breath and put his hand down. He sighed. "He's... someone like us. A lonely boy. An outsider whose father was cruel to him. All he ever wanted was to be heard, to be loved."
