4 [Getting To Know Them]

"Well, now I know who to call for repairs or for a checkup" I smiled as I chuckled a little.

Law and Kid could help but smirk and chuckle themselves when they glanced at me from the corner of their eyes, I swear I know I met these guys somewhere before I just couldn't remember.

"Miss [Y/N], why aren't you wearing that pocket watch necklace?" Miharu asked me out of nowhere.

Kid and Law seem to stiffen up from her comment which made me wonder about that, but I guess everyone has secrets.

"Oh, I guys I forgot when I return from our fun day on the beach" I replied when I looked at her.

"Its very pretty being silver and gold" she said again with a smile on her face.

Again Kid and Law seem to be frozen in time the more she described it almost like they just heard that ghosts were real for the first time.

"Well, I'll make sure I wear it tomorrow" I said making her smile more.

Time once again passed once it was now nine o'clock and the children were already sleepy since this was a rare case for them to stay up so late. Some maids came to get them ready for bed since we sat in one of the many living rooms; they all gave Kid and Law hugs goodnight in their tired little bodies, they gave me hugs too and gave each one a kiss on the forehead as well.

"They're so adorable" I said when I glanced over at Law and Kid.

"Well, its hard to believe five of them came from Eustass" Law said with a smirk.

"I could say the same Trafalgar" Kid fired back with a smirk of his own on his face.

I couldn't help but giggle out loud which made them look at me with confusion on both their faces.

"You both can understand its rare for me to see two alpha's actually live together without killing each other, but I guess being true mates does that" I said to them as I smiled as them both.

"We've come close to killing each other" Law replied thinking back for a moment.

"It leads to something else when it happens" Kid shrugged as he laid down on the couch folding his arms behind his head.

I giggled again which made them smile and chuckle themselves, it felt nice talking to them it felt like I could tell them anything and they would listen if not help me with anything I needed.

"So about this necklace you have, is it something special" Law spoke up after a moment past us.

"I've had it ever since I was baby, that's what my parents told me; but it came from some people I can't really remember well. I really wish I could see them once again and just talk about how things have turned out" I answered him as I crossed my legs together.

"They sound like good people" Kid said as he glanced over at me, more like my bare legs more than my face but I didn't mind It; I just blushed.

"Yea, I'm sure one day I'll find them just have to wait" I said with a small smile as I shrugged a bit.

Soon the clock struck ten which caught our attention, since it was getting very late now.

"I guess I'll see you both tomorrow, goodnight" I said as I stood up from my chair.

"Goodnight" they both said together as I left the room.

Kid's POV

Damn it I almost lost my cool when Miharu brought up that necklace [Y/N] always wore and I guess Law almost lost his cool as well since we both tensed up at the same time. Once [Y/N] left the room I sat up on the couch facing Law who sat on a chair on my left.

"Okay first it was her scent now she had a necklace very much like the one we gave to someone" I said with my voice being on edge feeling my whole body tense up just by speaking about it.

"I know, I know" Law said as he pinched the bridge of his nose closing his eyes for a moment.

"So, what are we going to do?" I asked as I stood up from the couch.

"I don't know okay, we just have to see what happens we have ten months for her to be here" Law said to me as he stood up.

"First of all, I'm not going to last ten months with her being here; she's already driven me insane with her scent and we can't even fuck her!! This is harder than trying to get you alone around here or at a gathering!" I complained as I walked back and forth in the room.

There was no fucking way I could last ten months without trying to do something stupid or worse, her scent was just too powerful to handle and it didn't help that it was mating season either that just made it ten times worse with it all.

"We just.....we just have to try our best and make little moves with her" Law explained to me giving me something to think about.

I couldn't help but growl deeply hating all if this, if [Y/N] was that little girl from the orphanage it meant that she was our true mate that we tried finding for years.

In my thoughts about her I was taken out of them by Law grabbing my shirt collar bringing me down to his lips to calm me a little bit; I didn't refuse the kiss, I returned it with a bit of force which caught him off guard which gave me time to slip my tongue into his mouth which made Law groan into the kiss. He may not say it but I know he likes it when I take control its always been that way.

But we had to part our lips to let air into our lungs leaving us still inches away from each other as we both breathed heavily to catch our breath.

"Things will get better, we just have to wait" he said to me as we looked into each other in the eyes.

"Fine, I'll try" was all I could say to him.

Law kissed me one more time before he left the room himself to go to his room, I sighed heavily as I looked out the window and at the moon.
