Chapter 29

Five days to go before the months of June. And I'm still working, eating, and live the life.

Still I had no talked with Sean, tila hindi na yata talaga ako pagbibigyan ng tadhana.

"Ate Pat, bibili ako ng banana milk naubusan na ng stocks dito" I said while pouting.

"Pwede naman, mamayang hapon muna Irene. Ipagpaliban mo muna please" Litong-lito ako dahil hinaharangan ako ni Ate Pat na makalabas ng store.

"Ate Pat, I'm craving na talaga gusto ko kumain ng pizza, at ng marami pang iba... Tapos yung banana milk!"

"Hindi talaga pwede, aishhh" Dahil nakalusot ako sa harang ni Ate Pat.

"Basta bumilis ka lang" She screamed.

Naubos ang pera ko sa wallet dahil napabili ako ng maraming banana milk. Mabuti at may nakapa ako sa pants ko na pampamasahe ko mamayang uwian.

"Irene!" Ani saakin ni Ate Jai na may stall ng mga tindang Marikina shoes, at mga iba pa.

Papasok na sana ako store ng mahulog ang isang karton ng pizza ko, at nahulog yung fries. Kinain ng semento, nakakasama tuloy ng loob.

Pero napahinto ako sa pagpulot ng makita ko si Sean, kasama si Selene. Lumabas sila sa botique na katapat nitong store. I stare at their smiley face to each other. And the moment Sean laid eyes on me.

At parang sinampal na ang katotohanan saaakin, na wala na talaga ang lahat saamin ni Sean.

Yeah, I stare how Sean kissed the lips of my bestfriend. Sinasadya na ba talaga...

Napamura ako sa sobrang sakit na nadama ko.

Then Sean looked at me from we're I'm standing. Selene looked at me too, and then to Sean.

I saw of my my both eyes, the way he accompany Selene towards his car.

Napayuko na lang ako, habang pumapatak ang luha saaking mga pisngi, at pinapakiramdaman ang unti-unting paghati sa puso ko.

Kasi parang mamatay narin ako.

I walked slowly to go inside the store, my shoulders were sagged.

Nagtama ang tingin ko sa mga mata ni Ate Pat, she's bitting her nails. "Nakita ko talaga sila kanina pa, that's why I don't want you to go outside Irene, gusto kong subukan na ilayo ka sa sakit na may kasamang iba si Sean"

"Halika rito, yayakapin kita"

Against the embraced of Ate Pat, I did wipe my tears in my eyes, but I'm hardly trying to remove the pain in my heart brought by why I'd saw awhile.

He's not my Sean anymore.

The next day, palungkot ng palungkot ako. Hindi ko maipaliwanag ang lumbay ng pag-iisa sa apartment ko. I quietly lay down on my bed.

Tanging maiit na tunog ng aircon, ang naririnig ng tenga ko. My hands seek for my phone to go online, it's been awhile since I visit on my ig account.

I liked my friends Sol latest ig post. It's her posing to the modeling management studio she was in. She really looked stunning wearing turtle neck crop top that really revelead her wide rib-cage, she also wore a light-wash jeans.

I hope she'll become the next top super model, my friend Sol deserved that I knew her hardwork in her modelling journey.

The next was the new post of Brig, usual many good comments from girls. It's another picture of his with the side of his AMG car. He's totally a rich kid, pero bakit kasi may pa-tubig siya every time he'll go out with some other girl.

Pity, he's now split to Sophie.

But I stopped from browsing the moment I saw the pose of Sean on his ig account.

It was him, with Selene's while eating at some fine restau. I clicked his ig profile. I browse down, my heart sink the part I realized he already deleted the picture of the two of us.

I looked closely on 30 minutes ago post of him. At ito na ang pinakakinatatakutan ko.

He showed to the world, that he's now enggaged to my best friend Selene.

Hindi ko matigil tigil ang pagluha ng mga mata ko. The moment I decision of erasing my pictures with him on my ig account. As I browse down, sobrang paninikip ng dibdib ko ang naramdaman ko.

Here it is, this is the list of memories that follows.

One by one I deleted the pictures. The one, while we're in the CA we're both wearing a uniform. Next is the picture of us, at the store of Uncle. The next is, the picture of us inside the bus the time of our school trip going to Bicol.

At sobrang nahirapan akong i-delete ang picture namin habang kami ay nasa may Daraga, Church.

We promised a forever there.

Rumagasa ang luha ko, while I'm looking to delete this picture. Dapat ba talagang i-delete ito? Dapat ko ba talagang alisin ang existence ng larawang ito?

Nagawa ko na ngang pindutin ang delete button. Nabitawan ko ang cellphone ko, at hinayaan ang sarili kong umiyak ng umiyak.

Pinabayaan na talaga ako ni Sean, at ang sakit sakit isipin.

I thought he'll continue to fight for me. I thought we're going to make it in the journey of becoming to the end.

I thought he's love will not changed.

Penny to my thoughts now.

Hindi ko alam kong gaano ako katagal umiyak. Basta nasilayan ko na lang sa salamin ang mugtong-mugto mga mata ko.

"Irene!" I heared it here in my room.

I knew it was from Klave.

I slowly walked out of my room. Opened the main door of my apartment, at pagbuksan ng gate si Zeev.

"You looked in a hurry Klave, here maupo ka rito" Nang makaupo kami.

"Irene, you need to know about this. Blyzerre a younger sister of Sean is a close friend of my sister. I heared them talking about the flight of her Kuya Sean going back to States" Zeev said into my eyes.

"I bet, she's going with my best friend Selene" I said looking in another direction.

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter because you'll look for him to the airport you'll have a chance to talk to him. It's not too late to change some fate Selene" Zeev said.

"No Zeev, I'm not thinking of doing that... I'm just going to waste my time." I aswered Zeev nonchalantly.

"I should keep on my mind what my great friend just said... we should gonna stop chasing someone that really put so much heartache on us"

"Ayoko ng masaktan ng higit pa Zeev"

"I guess you already made up your mind" I heared his deep breath.

"Would you come with me outside, let's baked" I accepted the hand of Zeev.

And I find myself enjoying while baking a choco moist cake. We're talking random things while waiting the cake in oven.

Nang dumating si Sky, with her bubbly smiled.

"Tamang tama ang rating ko" She sitted beside me here in kitchen bar.

"You know what Zeev, I always view your insta story. And you're always baking, like cup cakes, cheese cake. For sure, ang magiging girl mo pagdating ng araw. You'll shower full of sweet with her" Sky said full of chessy, but fun and right indeed, Zeev is really good on baking he got the skills on her grand mother according to his story.

"Diba tama ako Irene?"

"Yeah" And I nodded.

Zeev looked and smiled at me.
