They had made it through the speeches and the meal, now it was time for the couples first dance.

Walking around the head table the bride and groom made their way to the dance floor, soon Berlin's 'Take my Breath Away' began playing and everyone's eyes fell on the newly wed.

It was a beautiful dance, James' eyes shone with love and mirth whilst Rachel laughed along to whatever he had mumbled into her ear.

A while later people started joining them and Nikolai leaned over

"Dance with me"

"I don't know how"

The older stood and extended his hand towards Riley who took it hesitantly. The closer they got to the dance floor the more his tummy twisted in painful knots.

"Hey, remember just focus on me"

Nikolai wrapped his arms around the younger's waist and lifted him slightly before lowering the boy unto his own feet.

A blush spread across his face as the older started moving gracefully taking him with him.

It was embarrassing because he had to stand on Nikolai's feet, but at the same time he was loving every minute of it.

Sighing he placed his head against the man's chest and listened to the steady rythmn of his heart.

"Riley?"

"Hmm"

"Did you enjoy today?"

"Yes sir"

"Good, I'd like to see you again, how long are you staying in the country?"

"Mm, mama wants to spend some time with me so I'll probably be here a while"
His voice was soft as he slightly altered the truth, his mother did want to spend time with him but that's not why he wanted to stay. He could have easily left the day after tomorrow.

"That's good, how about Saturday?"

Rikey whined at that not wanting to wait so long, it was only Tuesday.

"I told you no whining"

"I'm sorry"

"Hmm, what's wrong with Saturday?"

"I-it's- nothing. Saturday's fine"

"Do you know what I hate more than whining?"

Shaking his head the younger glanced up at the hazel eyed man, who's gaze intensified as he uttered the simple word

"Lying"

A chill ran down Riley's spine and he averted his eyes quickly, knowing he messed up the boy quickly muttered the correct answer

"I-it's just that Saturday's so far a-way"

The song faded before blending into James Arthur's 'Falling Like the Stars'.

Pausing Nikolai used his pointer finger to raise the boys head.

"You are adorable and I wish I could do it earlier, but I leave the state tomorrow afternoon and I won't be back until Friday night"

"Y-you're leaving"

"Yes, it's just a small business trip. But Saturday you'll have my undivided attention, how does that sound?"

Riley didn't know why he was acting like this. Nikolai Cirillo was still technically a stranger; they had only met the day before and only knew a few trivial things about each other.

But he didn't like the thought of the older man leaving, he wanted to see him tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that.

"Hey, I'll be back before you know it and I'll give you my number so you can call me anytime okay?"
