I might have possibly fucked up just a little bit.
Two dates. One night.
Well, one date and one "get-together" with a guy from twitter who allegedly has a fiancé.
How romantic.
I hadn't been thinking of Otto when I'd told Dallon that Friday night worked for me. In fact, I'd been thinking about Otto less and less lately.
A part of me just wanted to cancel plans with him and focus solely on Dallon, but I knew I couldn't do that. Otto had come all of this way for me, I wasn't about to just ditch him.
Awsten: hey.
Awsten: i have a situation

There was no way in hell I was canceling my plans with Dallon. I didn't want to make a bad first impression on him, and I didn't want him to think I was unreliable.
But I knew Otto was only here in LA for a few days.
The obvious solution was to reschedule with Otto for Saturday. It was short notice, and I wasn't sure how he would take it, but it didn't matter.
Awsten: how's the airbnb?
Otto: It's pretty groovy
Otto: Radical?
Otto: Is that the LA lingo?
Awsten: you're practically an angeleno already
Awsten: hey so um i actually need to talk to you about something
Otto: ...
Awsten: i can't meet up on friday.
Awsten: i'm so sorry, something came up really last minute.
Awsten: does saturday work for you?
Otto: ...Yeah.
Otto: What came up?
Awsten: just some work stuff.
Awsten: a meeting actually
Awsten: about performance and promotions and stuff like that
Awsten: pretty boring
Awsten: but gotta keep the boss happy, yknow?
