Chapter 20- Here Without You

"Yeah that's what I said."

"If you say so." El said

I did not say Zayn. Ok maybe I did. It's just that I miss him.

A lot.

I bought the dress and then we headed to Starbucks for a nice, cool birthday drink.

"I wonder what Harry has in store for tonight. We haven't been on a date in a while." I said

"Who knows but I'm guessing someone's gonna get some tonight." Dani said

"Oh god nobody needs to know that!" El said a bit disgusted

"Well wearing a dress like the one she got, it's bound to happen." Dani argued

"Can we not talk about my sex life so casually?" I interjected

"Sorry." They said in unison

After another hour of conversation we returned to my house that is like a foreign place to me now ever since the accident.

The girls helped do my hair and makeup and it felt like I was going to prom or something. It was now 6:55 and Harry said he would be at 7:00 so he'll be here in any minute.

"Prince Charming is here!" Eleanor yelled from downstairs

"I'll be done in a second." I yelled back

I grabbed my phone and my wallet and my clutch purse. I slipped on my nude heels to go with my dress and made my way downstairs.

I saw Harry's jaw drop and his eyes light up when I came down the stairs and I could've done the same.

He had on all black and I swear I did a double take. A black button up, black jeans, a black blazer and black converse. Typical Harry.

I made it down the stairs and we were both just standing there facing each other in awe. I didn't even realize the rose he had in his hand for me.

"Wow. You look so......wow." He said still phased by my presence

"I could say the same about you." I said, now blushing extremely hard

"Shall we?" He said gesturing towards the door

"Of course." I responded

"Have fun you two. We'll lock up for you. Behave yourselves." Dani said

"Won't make any promises." Harry said

We made our way to the car and he opened the door for me like a gentleman. He got a driver for the night which I thought was quite fancy.

"So where are we headed to?" I asked a bit impatiently

"Well if you must know, we have reservations for dinner and then I rented a room at a hotel for the night. As a matter of fact we're here." He said

"That was delicious!" I said as the waiter took our plates

"I'm glad you liked it." Harry said smiling from ear to ear and showing off those killer dimples

He took my hands in his and we just looked into each others eyes.

"You know I love you right?" he asked

"Of course. You know I love you too right?" I said

"I was hoping you were going to say that. You know we've been through a lot these past years and I would've never wanted to spend those times we had with anyone else but you. You've made me who I am today. I would do anything for you and I have fought for you for so long. To think we started out as friends and now look at us. And I want to make it official." He said
