"Amilotl."

"Amilotl?" Amity repeated.

"Mhm."

"Amity axolotl."

"Wow! You're a smart cookie!" Luz giggled. "How'd you know?"

"The first half sounds like my name, the last part sounds like axolotl. Dummy." Amity smiled, ruffling Luz's hair with her free hand.

"Hey, do you think we have time to stop for ice cream?" The witch asked.

'If we're quick..' Amity thought. "I'll get you some ice cream later okay? Carob flavored if it makes you feel better."

"Ooh~! Really? But you'll be paying..I don't want you to pay for it.."

*Amity will remember that

"I'll use Emira's card if it makes you happy."

"But then you'll be stealing money!"

"She won't notice!"

"Amity! That's wrong!"

"No it isn't- Hey isn't today such a nice day?-"

"This isn't over! We will continue your stealing habits of human currency later.." Luz muttered, glaring at Amity.

"Phew.."

"I heard that!"

"Oh no! We're going to be so late- Come on Luz!" Amity exclaimed, picking up the pace, desperately needing to change the subject.

Suddenly, her palm felt empty, the human looking back, "Uh-Oh. That's not good."

Luz was fine. She just dropped a highlighter, putting it back in her bag, looking up, also noticing Amity was gone. She hummed, letting her bag fall to her side, unzipping it, taking her phone out, and zipping her bag back up. She unlocked her device, going to calls, and calling Amity.

She put her phone up against her ear, the human answering in an instant. "I look away for two seconds and you're gone. Where did you go?"

"I dropped my highlighter." Luz mumbled, looking up at the sign for the store she was by. "I'm by a store called Lunch Box-"

"Pff- I see the store, give me a minute."

"Okay."

Amity hung up, Luz looking up at the store while she put her phone away, the logo being grey and white. She looked through the window, jackets, Zarry Otter, Lelo and Sewn, Gisney Princesses, Rickey Rat, and some other stuff.

*Kudos to you if you can guess who each is

The witch felt someone touch her shoulder, looking back, "Oh- S-Sorry am I in your way?-"

The man took her hand, Luz quickly pulling back, "Ah- Please don't do that-"

They looked around, grabbing her arm and wrist, "You're alone aren't you?"

The witch clicked her tounge, "I'm with my friend. Let me go!"

He pulled her aside, out of the way from people and out of sight, "Okay, Luz, I'm from The Boiling Isles- This is an Illusion so refrain from hurting it. Belos, he's up to something. Something that could hurt people. You have to stay here til the problem is solved. Your mom, Edalyn Clawthorne, is assisting us. She wants you to stay back because Belos wants every piece of human knowledge he can get, and he'll get it from you."

The witchling tensed, now noticing his ears, "What's he doing? Is my mom okay?-"

"She'll be fine, she's just playing pretend with Belos. Acting like she just wants you back and hopes it'll be soon, but she's listening in his plans. Tell Lilith to come back, she knew him better then all of us and the little red b-"

"Please don't curse- These human words are really starting to mess with my head-" Luz blurted out.

He nodded, "I've only been here for two days, looking for you. I've heard all these words and wow these humans know alot. But Luz, you have to stay. For as long as you can. Some of the guards are here. They're looking for you too, your mom told me where you were but you're short and I can't see you-"

The witchling pouted, looking away, "I am not that tiny.."

"Luz you're literally the size of a peanut- But still. Guards are trying to take you back without anyone else knowing, they're coming for you. Don't let them see you with humans. They'll take them from you, and use them to get you back home." He continued. "They already hurt one of your friends, I know. But I'm glad they're alive, and you should be too."

The witchling nodded slowly, the older witch looking back and around, "I don't have much time. Start wearing a beanie or something to cover your ears, stop using magic, you need to save it. Kick the Illusion, and be careful Luz. Your mother wants you back in one piece and alive."

Luz kicked their shin, a puff of blue smoke surrounding it, a pocket watch falling on the ground, the witch backing in to the small corner. She saw Amity, the human passing the small spot, looking panicked. Luz let out a small whine, Amity looking in the small hiding spot, going towards- "Luz, are you okay? Please don't cry, let's go get you some ice cream okay?"

The witch shook her head, gently pushing Amity away, "Luz..You don't.. You don't do that..Are you okay? Did someone hurt you?"

"Go away.."

The Blight tensed. "W..What..?"

"Leave.."

"Luz-"

"Just go..!"

The human pulled her in a hug, giving her a tight squeeze, the witch trying to pull back. "I'm not leaving you until you've told me what's going on..Okay? We'll get through this, together.."
