He sat down on the cold grass and leaned against the Life Tree..

'It was summer not long ago but now the weather has cooled..
The sky became dark.. Fat and dark clouds started to gather around..

The Scarlet lighting split the thick dark clouds when you were born..

My child, I want to meet you.. I'll go there, so please tell me where you are..  Please allow me some time to have tea with you..

Talk to me, annoy me, destroy whatever you hate, capture anything you desire, do whatever you want.....just....please....just come back my child..... Please come back..'

Duke Audrian mumbled on his own..

He had traveled the entire empire, even the other continents as well, yet he still couldn't find his child..

He doesn't have any idea how to find his child now.. He felt so hopeless..

He clutched his chest as tears fell from his eyes.. The crumpled part of his clothes almost got torn as he clenched it tightly..

His quiet sobs got harder, with his shoulders shaking..

'But I can't give you up.. Dad will definitely find you..'

If he can't find his child, he will just keep searching every nook and cranny of the world..

He can't give up on his child yet..

Perhaps he won't ever give up...

He looked at the grass beside the Life Tree.. A bitter smile formed on his face..

"This place doesn't smell like your blood anymore.."

He clutched his chest even harder than before to stop his silent sobs..

His hand bleed, as it got pierced by the decorative ornaments on his coat..

With his other hand he creased the grass beside him, with warm and teary eyes..

"My child,
You will be 15 after a few months.. Forgive Dad for not being there for your birthday..

I've called your name so many times but you never answered, I guess you probably don't plan to ever forgive me..

I still curse myself for leaving you on your own that day..

Do you know,
When you were born, I stood outside the room and waited excitedly to see you.. When they let me enter, my whole world changed at the moment I saw you..

You were so small, your clenched fist wasn't even as long as my thumb and you felt like a bunny doll in my arms.. I was afraid you would be uncomfortable if I use too much force, so I was carefully holding you..

At that time your mother laughed at me for holding you like that..

When you were a baby, you were very obedient.. You didn't cry when you woke up, you just stared at me and smiled.. At that time I swore that I will protect you with my life, always..

A person in a spacious room sat up on the bed gasping..

"Haaahhhh....haaaa..."

Hot tears are falling from that person's eyes..

That room was too dark for someone to notice that person's tears..

A hall-like big room, dark and silent, Only the sound of That Persons hard breathing can be heard..

A chill gust of wind came from the bedside window, it made the room a little breathable..

"Why....My chest......it......why it feels so empty??"

That person mumbled while clutching the bedsheets..

"Why?"
