Chapter 7

"Ma'am pwede po ba mag announce sa classmates ko?" I asked one of my teachers.

"Sure, anak. Habang tinatapos ko muna i-check yung record ng class niyo." I smiled politely at her.

Pumunta ako sa gitna at sa white board para sabihin at ilista yung mga gaganaping events.

"Okay, class. We have many upcoming events that will happen. Therefore, I want you all to finish our projects and pass all of our subjects because we are all graduating students. After our hectic schedule for this month, we will just enjoy the rest of this school year," I started.

Nang una ay maingay sila pero nakinig din sila sa akin.

Sanay na ako mag handle dahil sa simula bata pa lang ako ay tinuruan na ako ng mga magulang ko na maging isang leader.

But even though I am used to it, I still find it difficult to lead a group.

These are classmates of mine. Most of them are hard-headed, kaya nga stress din ako, but they are all cooperating and respecting me too. Nakakapagod pero masaya ako na parang ako ang nag silbing parang ate ng buong class na 'to.

"Noted po 'yan, Ms. Pressy!" And yes, that's one of the nicknames they gave me, Pressy.

"Okay, about the events. First we will have the intramurals na one-week gaganapin, may mga booths na mangyayari sa mga organizations. "Opo!" mga parang batang sigaw ng mga classmates ko.

We are section ABM-1 kaya pressured rin kami.

Javis is also an ABM student as he is an aspiring businessman too.
Section 2 nga lang siya, sobrang panghihinayang ko pa noon na hindi ko siya naging classmates.

Pero ewan ko rin ba sa university na 'to at hindi nagkatabi ang classroom namin ni Javis. They are on the third floor, while we're on the first floor. Hindi ko tuloy siya masilayan kapag lalabas ng classroom namin.

But he's not an exception when it comes to my grade. We need to win this competition that will happen in our intramurals. 

Magsisilbing project kasi namin sa Entrep ito, at kapag nanalo kami ay sure na yung grade namin sa project na one hundred percent.

I need to be on top, kaya dadalhin ko rin ang buong section sa project namin na 'to.

Javis is also an achiever in our batch. Madalas nga na ma-compare yung section namin sa section nila.

Siguro mas mahihirapan ako na kalabanin si Javis kung wala siya sa soccer team, nahahati kasi atensyon niya sa academics and sports.

Pareho rin kaming nasa list of top ng buong ABM strand. I am on the number one list, while he's next to me.

Hindi lang siya kalaban ko, pati na rin sa ibang strand.

Halos magkakalapit ang grades naming lahat sa buong batch nang first semester, even though I am still on top for the whole batch, I can't just relax myself.

My parents pressured me more about my academics as if I will make myself down.

"Let's talk some about the other events. Pero paalala lang na dapat ay umpisahan na natin 'yon habang maaga pa. It's not necessary to have unique ideas for our project in entrepreneurship, ang pinaka maraming nag enjoy at kukuha ng products or services natin from our schoolmates is the most important. Doon kasi ang basehan para manalo, but still, I want our product or services to be unique. So we will have a meeting this week for that."
