Madhu planned to bring Bulbul and Maahir face to face without informing Bulbul and so she lied to her saying that Kuhu wanted to meet Bulbul but she could not come as the doctor asked her to not go out before delivery and Bulbul believed it. After going to Kuhu's apartment, she hugged Kuhu and said, "Kuhu bua aap mujhe pehle bata sakti thi to main kabka aapse milne chali aati." Kuhu replied, "Oh sorry baby! Actually kya hai na ye jo aapke Rohit uncle hai na vo bare hi phattu hote ja rahe hai, ekdam mera dhyaan nehi rakhte hai." Bulbul angrily looked at Rohit and said, "Aap sach mein Kuhu bua ka dhyaan nehi rakhte? Main na mamma ko bol dungi to vo achche se aapki class lagaayegi, pata hai na meri mamma kitni gussewaali hai aur phir na vo Kuhu bua ko auntynaani ke ghar lekar chali jaayegi." Rohit held his ears and replied, "I'm really very sorry Bulbul, main agli baar se na aisi galti phir se nehi karunga." Bulbul accepted his apology and replied, "Thik hai yaad rakhna!" Kuhu then gave Bulbul something to eat and then made her sit beside her. After that, she exchanged nervous looks with both Madhu and Rohit and then while Bulbul was eating, Kuhu asked, "Achcha Bulbul aapka gussa kam hua thora sa?" Bulbul replied, "Par main to aapse gussa nehi hu Kuhu bua." Kuhu looked at Madhu for a second and then said, "Kisi na kisi se to gussa ho na aap and I understand, gussa karna jaayaz hai par us gusse ko nikaalna bhi to zaruri hota hai na." Bulbul looked confusingly at Kuhu and Kuhu understood that she might have presented the things in a bit confused way and so in a simplified manner, she explained, "Bulbul baby I'm talking about your daddy!" On hearing Maahir's name, Bulbul put down the plate from her hand on the table and said, "Mujhe kisike baare mein baat nehi karni hai Kuhu bua." She stood up and looked at Madhu and said, "Naani ghar chalo, mujhe ghar jaana hai." Kuhu held Bulbul's hand and said, "Bulbul... beta ek baar meri baat sunlo phir aap chale jaana main nehi rokungi. Please sit!" Bulbul sat again and Kuhu said, "Main maanti hu daddy ne sach mein bohot galat kiya hai, nehi karna chahiye tha aisa. But he's really very sorry now, unko apni galti realize ho chuki hai. Ye jo Anu auntie hai na unhone aapke daddy ko manipulate kiya tha aisa karne ko varna aapko to pata hai na ke aapke daddy aapse kitna pyar karte hai, vo to aapko hurt karne ke baare mein soch bhi nehi sakte hai. Ek baar sun lo phir uske baad tumhe jo karna hai tum kar lena, bas ek baar mere liye... please!!" Kuhu looked at the door of Maahir's room and Maahir stepped out. Seeing Maahir, Bulbul got up again and then said to Kuhu, "Aapko pata tha... aapne jaan bujh kar mujhe yaha bulaaya hai. Aap sab log bohot burey ho, main kisise baat nehi karungi. Main mamma ke paas hi rahungi, meri mamma hi sabse achchi hai, vo kabhi mujhse cheat nehi karegi, vohi mujhse sabse zyaada pyar karti hai. Mujhe ghar jaana hai abhi ke abhi." Saying she ran to Madhu and started pulling her hand to leave from there. Kuhu and Rohit tried to stop Bulbul but she didn't listen to anyone. "Bulbul sahi keh rahi hai!", Maahir said in a sad tone. He then sat on his knees and then continued, "Aap log please usko mat rokiye, jaane dijiye because I deserve this. Maine sirf apne dost ki jaan bachaane ki koshish ki thi, par mujhe ye bhi pata tha ke aisa karne se main apna sab kuch kho dunga. Bela ne akele paala hai Bulbul ko uska sabse zyaada haq banta hai aur usme vo taaqat hai ke vo Bulbul ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai aur aisa karne se pehle vo ek baar sochegi bhi nehi. Main sirf apni bachchi ko khush dekhna chahta tha bas aur kuch nehi. Main sach mein nehi jaanta tha ke mere aisa karne se Bulbul is tarah se traumatized ho jaayegi, maine kabhi nehi socha tha. It was not that she didn't love Maahir but she was deeply scarred when he asked her to leave in that merciless manner and so even after all those things Maahir said, Bulbul could not trust him. There was a war going on between Bulbul's heart and brain as her heart was succumbing to her father's love but her bgrain was insecured about getting cheated again. That war was becoming too hazardous for a small child like Bulbul. Madhu, in order to push her towards Maahir, said to Bulbul, "Puttar ja jaakar baat kar daddy se." Since Bulbul could not trust Maahir, she nodded her head mentioning that she won't go. Madhu again said, "Bulbul maafi maang raha hai na vo aur maine tujhse kya kaha tha ke tu apology accept mat kar, lekin baat kar aur beta jaayegi nehi to baat kaise karegi." Bulbul again nodded her head which made Madhu disappointed but she could not force Bulbul as per the doctor's instructions and mostly because she knew Bela's wrath. Maahir got up and said, "Bulbul beta aap jo kahogi main karne ko tayyar hu, but please aap ek baar mere paas aao." While saying Maahir moved a little bit closer and Bulbul a few steps back. Maahir gave out his hand and said, "Please bachche!" With that Maahir's moving forward and Bulbul's moving back being continued, at one point of time, Maahir caught hold of Bulbul and Bulbul angrily started screaming, "Chodo mujhe! Chodo mujhe, mujhe nehi jaana aapke paas! Mamma! O mamma!!" The more Maahir tried to hold her, the more Bulbul fought. She started hitting Maahir out of desperation to get herself freed from his grip, but Maahir did not mind being hit as he thought he deserved it and when Kuhu wanted to stop Bulbul, Madhu stopped her and signaled not to interfere. It was not just Bulbul hitting her father but her anger and frustration for Maahir was coming out. The fight inside Bulbul was getting tougher as the more Bulbul was fighting, the more Maahir was holding her tight. At one point of time, Bulbul screamed out loud at her father and then gradually broke into tears as she cried her heart out as loudly as possible while keeping on saying, "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you.... Aapne mujhe ghar se nikaal diya, I hate you..." Seeing Bulbul break down like that everyone's heart filled with sorrow but Madhu gave a sigh of relief as the one thing that had jammed Bulbul's emotions had finally been unlocked and now she would perfectly be alright and she also understood why the doctor had told them for Maahir and Bulbul's meet up. Maahir hugged Bulbul tight as she stopped fighting and wrapped her inside his arms while trying to calm her down. He too was crying seeing Bulbul in that condition but he did not stop her from crying. He made her half lie down on his lap and started cradling her. Bulbul kept on saying, "Sab mujhe ghar se nikaal dete hai, aapne bhi mujhe ghar se nikaal diya daddy... I hate you. Aap bhi mujhse pyar nehi karte ho, aap sirf Anu auntie se pyar karte ho." Maahir replied, "Ye sach nehi hai, main to sirf aapse hi pyar karta hu aur kisise nehi karta aur vo ghar to aapka hai, main aapko kabhi bhi waha se nehi nikaal sakta hu." Bulbul was unable to speak properly and was having hiccups and replied, "I-I-I hate you da-daddy, main aapse pyar nehi karti hu." In the midst of all this, Maahir chuckled as he knew that Bulbul's 'I hate you' was the twisted version of 'I love you' and so he replied, "I know and I love you too." Bulbul cuddled in her father's arms more cozily as although she did not say, but she finally was able to forgive her father.
