Chapter 23
"Whoa," Danni said. "Did I scare you?"
My voice heightened in fear. "Danni, we have to hide."
"Hide? Why?" He asked.
With no explanation I grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him into a local thrift shop.
"Rosalyn, what is going on?" He asked.
"Thugs are after me," I hissed.
"Thugs?" He said, knitting his eyebrows in confusion.
"Yes," I hissed.
The doors to the thrift store chimed causing both Danni and I head's snapped up. It was them.
"Have you seen her?" Kale asked.
"She just came in to be exact." Said the young women.
"Damn you." I thought.
Well I'm screwed.
