"Goodnight, bestie." You yawned out.

"Goodnight, Y/n." Armin murmured.

Eren was on the brink of falling asleep when he heard the familiar ping of his phone notification. Which was then followed by a whole barrage of them.

He groaned in annoyance and kept his eyes closed shut through the sound of his phone blowing up. He was sure that whoever was messaging him would give up eventually.

But they kept spamming.

"Eren, can you please tell whoever's spamming you to shut the fuck up?" Reiner sighed heavily and scowled over at the boy with an equally perturbed Bertholdt sleeping a few feet away from them. "Jesus, I should have slept in the living room if I knew Eren's side chicks were gonna text him all night."

The brunette huffed before sluggishly reaching for his phone, his eyes squinting in disdain at how bright his screen was displayed even though it was at the lowest possible setting. He could have sworn he heard Bertholdt mutter "What side chicks?". He glared at the messages, feeling even more pissed now that he knew who had been texting him. "No way in Hell is Horse Face my side chick."

Eren scrolled through Jean's endless texts of "Eren, wake up" and "Wake tf up dumbass" until he finally landed on the original message.

BoJack: Hey fucker, did you turn on the AC like you said you would? Don't forget to do it.

"Fuck!" Eren grumbled and quickly got up out of his bed, speed-walking his way past a complaining Reiner to his AC and cranking it up to a level of coldness that would be uncomfortable if one didn't have a warm blanket. He retreated into his room and threw himself onto his bed, flinging the covers over him and groggily texting back Jean.

Ereh: Done.

It had been a solid ten minutes of you and Armin resting comfortably on the bed, your minds still in the process of shutting off for the night. You were in the hazy part of sleep where even though you were dozing off, anything could stir you awake. You could feel your dreams coming to you, enticing you to enter into an even deeper sleep. You had hoped to have nice dreams of you and your friends venturing through picturesque settings, and your brain had listened. Currently, your mind was playing a nice little vignette of you and your friends frolicking through a secret meadow, your hand linked with the boy of your dreams. You were both smiling and happy, his blue eyes shining and looking at you as if you were his whole world.

Dream Armin's lips parted and began to say the words that you longed more than anything to hear.

"Y/n, I love you so much."

Dream You smiled back tenderly.

"Oh, Armin-"

Your dream was interrupted by a deep, abrupt noise of what sounded like a machine. Your fantasy had evaporated into nothing but a memory of what could have been the beginning of a good dream. You were suddenly annoyed at how much of a light sleeper you were. Your eyes blinked open and looked up to the source of your annoyance. The vent.

Much to your dismay, the AC had been turned on and you were now lying awake once again, feeling frustrated at how hard it was turning out to be for you to get some sleep. You sighed softly and shifted your position, twisting your body onto your side to face Armin, whose back was towards you. How was it that the blonde could sleep so easily and you were struggling?

To make matters even worse, you were freezing now. Your body was subjected to the cold wisps of air that were coming from a vent that funnily enough was in perfect blasting position of the bed. The sheet that you were desperately burying yourself into was practically useless from how thin it was. It may as well have been nonexistent.
