Chapter 21 The First Day Back

(Alarm clock rings)

Lincoln woke up as Christina lay asleep in his room the Louds made for him he was waking up since this is the time he goes for his early morning runs when he was in training for fights and today was no exception he then kissed her forehead which made her smile in her sleep as he got dressed in his jogging tracksuit and running shoes and then he took out the key for his door and unlocked it before opening the door and he left
the room and he was jogging down the stairs a certain group of pets wanted to go with him as Charles, Cliff, Walt and Geo ran up to him and beg to run or fly in Walt's case with him
Lincoln was still mad at them too but they were animals they didn't know any better so he forgave them
Lincoln: Alright guys you can come with me but no noise People are still asleep alright
( They nodded their heads)
Lincoln: Let's go

And they all head out as Lincoln jogs while he throws punches in the air Walt flies over head keeping watch for danger and for annoying journalists while Cliff and Charles run beside him to protect him from trouble and Geo runs or rolls behind him so that his blind spot is covered

They run for a few miles before Lincoln takes a rest for a minute although jogging and run was hard it was a necessary evil as he needs to get his bicycle tuned up as he'll probably be on it for at least 8 rounds if not thr full 15 rounds against Bruno Martin and for now his team are still looking for a boxing gym to book him in so until they find one he'll have to train himself

Meanwhile with The Louds they were up too but they don't know that Lincoln is gone and then Lynn Sr sends Lucy to the couple's room to call them down to his and Rita's room as Lynn Sr and Rita want to talk to their son and his wife one on one and then Lucy knocks on the door and surprisingly only Christina answers

Lucy: Morning where's Lincoln?
Christina: What do you want with him?
Lucy: Well Mom and dad want to talk to him and to you in their room alone
Christina: Well you'll have to wait he's gone out for a jog
Lucy: Alright

She heads back down to inform her parents and they understand and have to wait for him to comeback

An hour late he does return and the sisters who were downstairs couldn't control themselves and rushed at him in excitement
Lola: Linky!!!
Luna: Bro!!!
Leni: Don't run away again Please!!!
Lincoln: Can all of you stop I'm not going anywhere jeez!!!
They let go off him
Lola: Anyway Mom and dad want to see you and Christina in their room
Lincoln groans at this as he's not any mood for the patriarch and matriarch of the loud house but he called Christina who was sweeping upstairs to join him and back him up as they enter the master bedroom and close the door

The rest of the sisters come downatairs to see Lola, Luna and Leni listening at their parents door
Lori: What are you all doing?
Leni: Like, umm Mom and dad called Christina and Lincoln to talk to them one on one and we are trying to listen through the door to what's going on

All the sisters join them in the eavesdropping

Meanwhile with inside the bedroom The four people were in the middle of the room with The parents sitting on the bed while Lincoln and Christina stood both Lincoln and Christina tried to keep their anger contained as they aired out their frustrations at Lynn Sr and Rita but the one thing that hurt the most was the fact they both called them by their first names and not Mom and dad or mother in law or father in law in Christina's case so if they think so lowly of them lord knows how much they think of the girls especially Jr

Rita: Yes we understand your anger guys but let's start from a professional stand point?
Lincoln: Fine
Lynn Sr: How have both of you been doing so far?
Christina: I'm doing fine
Lincoln: I'm also doing well
Rita saw that Lincoln was quiet as he answered and decided to rattle the lion's cage
Rita: Look Lincoln, I know you think we hated you since the day you were born and we haven't done much in our time with you to disprove those thoughts but we are being honest right now we do love you a lot more than you think
( Lincoln's fists started to ball up and he began to grit his teeth)
Lincoln: Then Why Rita!!, ( Both Lynn Sr and Rita backed off a little) why didn't you and Lynn Sr do anything anything to stop all this, why didn't you stop Lynn from spreading around her stupid accusations, why didn't tell me to stop lying all over the place!, why did you all listen to Lynn and immediately believe her over me even when I was telling the damn truth!!!, Why did you sell my stuff!!!, Why did you kick me out in the first place, where you planning to keep me out there for the rest of my life!?
Lynn Sr: Lincoln...
Lincoln: Tell me here Lynn Sr what would all of you have done had I got kidnapped, raped or even killed out there huh!!!
Lynn Sr: We were not gonna let such things happen to you son you gotta believe us
Lincoln: I don't but I got another question to ask you old man, when was the last time we hung out together in my childhood while I was still living with all of you?
Lynn Sr: You mean at the beach?
Lincoln: I mean just the two of us one on one without the girls or Rita
Lynn Sr: Hmmm... ( He scratched his head)  I think it was around the time I  was teaching you how to ride a bike
Lincoln: That was at least 25 years ago Lynn Sr
Lynn Sr: Well...I would've spent more time with you, but I have been busy with a lot of things like work, fixing up the house and the old van, managing the bills, food, water..
Lincoln: And Hanging out with the girls
Lynn Sr: ( He shrunked as he answered fearing a beating) Umm...yeah that too
Lincoln: Here's another question for you Lynn Sr when you were dad to me did you know it was take your child to work day and not Take your daughter to work day
Lynn Sr: Wait it wasn't gender specific anymore?
Lincoln: They changed it back in 1931 that was 25 years before I was even born and while we are on the subject and this includes you Rita, what were you doing with the coffee mugs I made for you every anniversary?

Both parents tried to respond but they couldn't utter more than stutters and that gave Lincoln all the answers he needed
Lincoln: Rita you unfairly punished me at the supermarket why when you know you have 10 very destructive and irresponsible daughters who went with me there huh?
Rita: Son I'm sorry for doing that I was just angry at the fact I'll be shopping out of town for a while and I wanted to teach you about taking responsibility for your actions
Lincoln: That's a load of bullshit and you know it!!!
Lynn Sr and Rita: Lincoln you don't talk to us like us that!!!
Lincoln: I can talk to you anyway I want since you never gave a damn plain and simple because look at me I am rich and famous I did all that myself without any of your help and now I'm more successful than any of your ten perfect angels and the fact you couldn't tell the truth in front of what you call your son is a clear message that I was just mistake to yet the mistake is successful unlike the intended ones
Lynn Sr and Rita were about to shed tears
Lincoln: Just forget it!!!
Christina: I have to agree with him both of you are the worst parents I have ever seen and although you have two months to earn our forgiveness already your fighting a losing battle and that goes double for those poor, sorry excuses of sisters except for the youngest as she was a real sister to him and to me!

Lincoln: You know what we're done here

The two open the door to leave and the sisters turn and flee as the couple go take a shower to go have breakfast out as they couldn't be in the same room with The Louds right now

For the parents only now do they realize how much damage they have caused
