Chapter 13 Unexpected Close Encounters

4 June 1987

Meanwhile with Lola she was on set for her movie Jaws: The Revenge as she had a few more scenes left to shoot and she was halfway through the principal photography of Slumber Party Massacre 2 this one really excited her it seems horror movies are becoming her favorites nowadays after shooting for a full day she was tired and after a nice shower and a change of clothes she clocked out at work at 9 P.M and took out her keys to her blue 1986 BMW 5 Series although most of her cars were either pink or purple or red in colour she bought a blue one to mix things up, as she unlocked the car and got inside before pulling out of the parking lot and taking the short drive back to her apartment as she had to get to sleep since she has more filming in the morning

Meanwhile with Lucy she was in North Carolina for a thriller movie she was shooting called The Bedroom Window as she was cast opposite Police Academy star Steve Guttenberg playing the role of Denise, getting the role though was not easy as the director Curtis Hanson, hated her guts from the first day he saw as he hated the Loud sisters for what they did and  originally gave the role to Elizabeth McGovern but McGovern pulled out of the movie because of family issues and since nobody else who auditioned for the role of Denise performed it better than Lucy other than Elizabeth McGovern, the role was reluctantly given to Lucy Loud and Lucy on the plus side was now in a relationship with young movie playwright Travis Farmer who was an avid fan of the macabre and scary worlds and he's written quite a few successful horror movies too

Meanwhile with Luan she was back in Philadelphia at work on her movie Mannequin as she was helping more with the promotion down there she did take pictures of the Rocky Statue and run up the Rocky steps before leaving and then she went back to Massachusetts to continue filming The Witches Of Eastwick and so far she knew the plan is working as rumor has it that Lincoln will be calling a press conference a month earlier than  expected with some people saying it will happen as soon as Next week although nobody knew for sure the exact date and time

Meanwhile with Lori she and Bobby were now in Los Angeles, California as Bobby had a murder case to help the LAPD solve here but today he was on a break so he suggested they spend the day at the mall and other places for some site seeing, the kids including Ashley were left behind in Miami with a babysitter so they went out in their hire car a black 1985 Chrysler Conquest and drove around and for the next few hours saw many sites and they even packed their swim suits for a dip in Malibu or Venice  beach which either one they get to first

Meanwhile with Christina she was on her day off today and decided to spend the day at the mall and go do some shopping and have fun there and after an hour of that she returns home hot as hell and as she saw Liberty, Diana and Jackson in the pool enjoying themselves Brandon and Chris were not with them since two were grounded for breaking some of her favourite records while her sixth baby Trish was upstairs sleeping, She gave birth to Trish on October 15th, 1986 just under 10 months ago and she and Lincoln agreed that Trish would be the last one in line no more kids after her Lincoln was still in Chicago and was going between there and New York for his two movies The Untouchables and Superman 4: The Quest For Peace but he was finishing both his movies and he will be back in Hollywood by next week wednesday anyway Christina thought about a better place to go cool off than the swimming pool and called to her kids who aren't grounded or too young to go

Christina: Kids get out of the pool and get dressed and put your bathing suits in your bags we are going to the beach

The three kids: The beach!! Yay!!!

They immediately sped past their mom and went to their rooms to dress up and as for the soon to be 31 year old she quickly went to her and Lincoln's bedroom and got her bikini before packing it in her bag and as she came out her 3 children were waiting before they all went to the car a 1984 Dark Red Dodge Conquest with Navy Blue lines around the car and flowers of the same colour painted on the hood of the car before they left for Venice beach, California and after a 20 minute drive they got there and immediately jumped into the waves

Meanwhile with The Heavyweight division here was the slightly changed Top 10 heavyweight rankings of the heavyweight division

Tim Witherspoon stopped Reggie Gross in the 8th round to stay relevant in the division

James Bonecrusher Smith fought Trevor Berbick and knocked him out in the fourth round

Rocky Sekroski knocked out James Broad and Donnie Long and Anders Eklund in the second, eighth and fourth rounds to close in on the top 10 but he did however lose two split decisions against both Adilson Rodrigues and Newcomer Francesco Damiani

James Buster Douglas won a unanimous decision against Former World Heavyweight Champion and fading top contender Mike Weaver who wasn't the same since 1985

There was an Italian heavyweight who was on a rampage in the division named Francesco Damiani as he was undefeated in all his 17 professional fights and he fought and defeated some good American fighters in Eddie Gregg, Eddie Richardson, Rocky Sekroski and James Broad as he continues his push to become boxings first Italian heavyweight champion of the world

David Bey knocked out Tony Tubbs in the 11th round to stake his claim in the division and stay relevant there as well

Bruno Martin defended his title for the 9th time against another man who couldn't win the big one in Frank Bruno who in his last 2 attempts at the world title he was knocked out on both occasions he was knocked out by Tim Witherspoon in 1984 for the WBC Heavyweight title in the 11th round before he took on Mike Tyson in the same year for the undisputed world heavyweight title and was knocked out in the fifth round

And despite how much he tried he was once again dispatched although to his credit he took Martin to the third round but was taken out late in that round and for the third time Frank Bruno had failed to win the title once again in his latest attempt

Meanwhile back with Lori and Bobby the two were in Venice beach enjoying the ocean and after 30 minutes of this they were sitting in some blankets under an umbrella talking before Lori saw something in the distance and got up to go see who it was as she got closer she saw a red headed woman playing with some kids before seeing a white haired girl run and hug her mom which made Lori put two and two together and then she ran back to Bobby to inform him

Bobby was enjoying the sunshine and he was about to fall asleep when Lori shook him awake

Lori: Bobby wake up!!, Wake up!!!
Bobby: What???
Lori: I think I just saw Lincoln's wife as I saw her playing with some kids including a white haired girl! You need to see this!!!
Bobby: Alright fine but please don't cause a scene babe

The two got up and went back in the direction Lori saw Christina and The Kids

Meanwhile with Christina she was helping Diana and Jackson make a sand castle as Liberty was playing in the waves

Christina: Sigh... what a beautiful day nothing can possibly ruin it

Lori: Christina!!!
The red head turn around and looked in the direction of where the sound came from and saw Lori and she wasn't happy
Christina: There goes the neighborhood

Lori: Christina thank goodness I caught you
Christina: Can you please leave me alone Lori!!
Diana: Who is this lady mommy??
Christina: Just a stranger honey go play mommy's got this
Diana goes back to playing
Lori: We are not strangers and you know it
Christina: Like hell you aren't!!!
Bobby: We come in peace Chrisplease don't start trouble
Christina: What the hell are you two doing here then?!
Lori: We just need to talk to you but we can't discuss it here
Christina: It's about Lincoln isn't it?
Lori: Yes can we talk about it at a restaurant over lunch?
Christina facepalms herself
Christina: fine let me gather the kids and I'll lead you to a good restaurant not far from here
Lori: Ok then
