A festival...?
I said staring at the poster in the hall, maybe i should take Mitsu...maybe i should make him some flan, yeah!... although he'd probably call me a perv or something pfft
I started to giggle, truth is I started liking Mitsu a while back after I figured out Amane and Yashiro were dating.
"Why are you giggling lame earring
boy?"
A voice started to speak behind me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"O-oh hey Mitsu!" I said obviously caught off guard.
"Why were you giggling..?" He said again
"Oh um...nothing!" I said back, very un-convincingly.
"Um...ok..?" Mitsuba said
"Oh! We should walk to class now Mitsu!" I said
"Um ok, lame earring" he said jokingly
~Time Skip to after school cause im lazy uwu~
"So Mitsu...would you l-like to go to the fireworks festival..?" I said nervously
Mitsuba looked at me making that :O face clearly wanting to go, he snapped out of it. That was cute mitsu... i thought to my self
"*GASP* you just probably want to take advantage of me!" He said. i was right pffft
"Mitsu really..?" I said giving him a 'are you kidding me' look
"You're just sorry that you cant find someone to take that as beautiful as me~...but sure ill go... is that daikon coming?" he said
"Nope! Just you and me" i said
His face lit up with excitement
"O-ok then Mitsu how about we go at 5:35?" I said trying not to giggle
"Sure" He chimed in

{Mitsuba pov}
I never really got to experience fireworks i mean i knew they existed but to see them in person would be really cool! i know he likes that Daikon girl though and not me...
which upset me a little bit cause i had feelings for him for a long time... :(
Soon enough, my phone beeped.

Do you want me to pick you up?
*GASP*

I disliked showing anyone the other side to me but Kou was different he was the first one who didnt try to bully me for looking girly and he always makes me smile without fail.
Soon after I heard a knock on my door. i rushed down the stairs
And opened the door to see Kou, standing there with his bike.
"Hey Mitsu! You ready?" He said with a wide toothy smile
"Yep! Bye mom!" I waved
"Bye Mitsuba! Have fun!" My mom said from across the room
"I will!" He said in return
"So..how was your day!" He said as we were riding down the road
"It was ok I guess...how was yours lame earring?"
i said trying to insult him jokingly
"It was ok...i mean Tiara and Teru-nii made me do odd jobs as a joke but it was ok" he said in return
"Oh! I brought the flan with me!"
He said trying to hype me up
"Ooh yay!!" I said
"We're here!" He said as he and i hopped off his bike.
"So where are we going lame earring?" I said
"Why don't we sit at the picnic table?" He questions
"Ok!" I answer
He grabs the flan and sets it down on the picnic table.
{Kou pov}
The fireworks started i kept staring at Mitsu who was ecstatic by seeing the fireworks.
"Eep!" He said as he grasped on to my arm spooked by the loud noise
"Mitsu..?" I said
"O-oh..." he said letting go of my arm
"I didnt mind it..." i muttered
After the fireworks i had worked up enough bravery to confess
"Hey m-mitsu?" I said stuttering nervously
"Yeah?" He said
"Um i have something to tell you...
and i know maybe you wont like it but can you promise to stay my friend if you don't??" I said very rushed
"Um sure lame earring"
He said in return
"Look...o-oh ok how do i say this..."
He sighed nervously
Mitsuba's face at this point was red because he could tell what i was trying to say
"*sigh* ok look Mitsu what i was trying to tell you is that i really really like you I enjoy your company, your pink hair, your smile, your arrogance, i like everything about you Mitsuba!And i know you probably don't like me bac-" Mitsuba cut me off by hugging me
"I like you to you lame earring idiot"
He said in a muffled tone
I hugged him back and kissed him on the forehead when he looked up
"Are you sure you like me?? Are you sure you don't like Daikon senpai??" Mitsu said worried and confused
"Nope besides she has a boyfriend"
I said back
"good to know"
Was all he said after that
