Pride was sitting at the table, holding an ordinary golden necklace in her hands. Her thoughts drifted far away, but she noticed Wrath right away, when he showed up. Finally, there was nobody else in the room with them. They had some time to talk about the kiss and many other things.

Wrath wasn't sure what Pride wanted. She was able to play it off, pretending that nothing happened. He was fine with whatever she decided to do. He loved her more than anything and he meant it, when he said that eternity isn't an obstacle. Not as long as he could at least look at her and talk with her as a friend. She meant a world to him.

"I've been thinking about the things you told me." They couldn't predict the future, but they could deal with the consequences. Nothing has ever stopped them. Everything was happening in the exact way they wanted it to happen. Hell was trembling upon them, even if it has been ages since their last visit there.

"What about them?" Wrath was eager to find out what Pride had decided.

"You really think we're more powerful than any other creature from Hell?" she asked with small amusement, because it was pure haughtiness to call themselves in a greater force than the Devil. But what if it had some truth in it? Could it be?

"There are seven of us. The original and most dangerous demons. Apart each one of us is just another bighead but together nothing can stand against us. It takes time to understand it. We're still separated, but at the same time we're closer than we've ever been."

He was noticing all the prejudices among them. Pride hated Lust, Lust had a regret for Sloth, Sloth felt left out, Greed seemed a little bit off lately and generally it was only Envy and Gluttony who had no problems with anyone, because he on the other hand was easily getting angry.

"I've got to admit. It'd be nice to leave this house. To see the world. To be free finally. We're trapped here or we can come back to Hell and be trapped there." And that was a bad idea.

"We could. All it takes is just a little disobedience." Wrath was more than sure that they could reverse the spell that keeps them on the grounds of this house. Nothing stood a chance against them. Why couldn't others see it?

"And a little courage." She finally looked him in the eyes. While Wrath seems tough, in his eyes there could've been seen softness, especially when he was staring at Pride. "Courage to do what we want." She leaned and kissed him delicately, making the most of this moment.

Most creatures from Hell would say that it was wrong, but for her that felt more than right. It was the best decision she could've made. She wanted Wrath, even though for some many years she couldn't see it clearly. They've belonged together. He was always there, when she needed him. He was more than just a friend and now it felt stupid that it took her so much time to realize this.

"Pride," he whispered her name with his breath taken away. Pride kissing him, it felt surreal, but it was reality.

"I think it's you who said that we belong together, but well, I kind of agree," she sweetly chuckled, touching his face and hair.

"We definitely belong together." He smiled and kissed her once again. Her lips tasted so delightful. It took many years, but it was worth the wait. For her, everything was worth doing.

They started kissing more and more, laughing at the same time with happiness in their voices. Everything suddenly became much more beautiful, like the world has changed in one second. The room was filled with bright light, coming through the window as they were busy with themselves. Wrath caught Pride and put her on his knees, taking time just looking at her. At his other half. The most beautiful, intelligent and caring girl in the world. He was seeing so many emotions written on her face, but there was this one, the most important one. He knew right away that Pride truly reciprocated his feelings.
