SPACE, NIGHT
Kneeling behind a throne, a clothed, armoured figure, bows as he speaks to an unknown, but powerful, being sat upon the large thrown. "The Tesseract has awakened. It is on a little world. A human world. They would wield its power. . ."
The unknown being turns away from the throne and faces a horned shaped shadow not far from where they stood. Loki. Loki, the God of Mischief, is handed the Chitauri Sceptre, a long golden handle, fitted with a large, blue gem encircled with silver blades.
"But our ally knows its workings as they never will. He is ready to lead. And our force, our Chitauri, will follow." he announced.
Tens of thousands of Chitauri, alien-like creatures, stand ready in a seething mass of near rows and columns— ready for a war. The ground they stood upon simply quakes.
"The world will be his. The universe yours. And the humans, what can they do but burn?"

S.H.I.E.L.D. PROJECT P.E.G.A.S.U.S FACILITY, NIGHT
Out in the New Mexico desert, a remote research facility is in a state of panic. It was an evacuation. A swooping helicopter flies in, joining the chaotic scene as it lands on a cleared helipad.
Chaos. Men in smart, black suits run around in the typical 'we have to leave urgently' fashion. Soldiers on foot jump onto awaiting trucks, accelerating the hell out of there. A voice bellows from hidden loudspeakers across the large facility, repeating the urgency that everyone was to leave immediately.
Standing a few yards from the landing pad, A man in a suit with badass shades, peers at the helicopter as it lands. SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson.
Exiting the helicopter first, is SHIELD Agent Maria Hill. The pale; middle-aged woman wore her brown hair in a tight, but low, bun and was clad in a navy blue catsuit. Fierce and determined she was. Following her, was the Director of Shield, Nick Fury. The dark-skinned man appeared daunting in his leather black trench coat and the eye patch which left only his right eye on show.
