Waking up was full of surprises. For one, I was face to face with Bane, and secondly... Well, there wasn't a second. I was again trapped in handcuffs, deprived of any use of Force. These were somewhat special, any sudden movements, and I'd be shocked.

Bane placed my body in a small holding area guarded by two large droids. I tried once more to unlock the cuffs, but a shock wave circulated in my veins as expected. I yelled in agony; I was angry, but most of all frustrated. How? I wondered.

How can I possibly get myself into this mess once more?

"Those binders are specially designed for Jedi." Bane hissed. He grabbed the sides of my cheeks, pulling my face upwards. His face held a gruesome smile.

He smelled like garbage, and his fingers were rough as they scraped on my cheeks."Don't lecture me, Bane." I spat out.

He threw my head backward, making my body fall back onto the metal wall. A sharp hiss escaped my lips when Bane held it switchable up to my throat, slicing a small part of it. "Sir, a-a Jedi is coming. He looks very unhappy." A droid voiced. His voice was trembling, knocking on the door harshly.

I looked into Bane's eyes, giving him a smirk.

"Good luck." I teased.

Bane smiled once more, leaning back away from my face. He walked over to the direction of the banging, preparing the droids to attack once they had entered the room.

Whoever was behind those doors, I begged it was Anakin. Despite our whole fight, I wanted to be safe in his arms. They held a comfortable unexplainable feeling.

Being a Jedi can be exhausting; at times, I think it's better to leave. To live an everyday life where I don't have to hide my feelings. A lifelike Padme.

Screams came from the other side of the metal door. It was him; it was Anakin. I knew the screams and terror the droids yelled out, and Anakin only caused it.

I lifted my head, seeing Bane had lifted a ray shield trapping me into a small area. I knew what his plan was, this was an escape pod, but this pod had no ship. I was a bargain chip, one that Anakin couldn't help but give in.

"You have nowhere left to run, bounty hunter." Anakin furiously said as he entered the other side of the shield. He had furrow brows and a malicious face. The energy in the room was chilling in his presence.

He held his saber in one hand, leaning it a slight onto Bane.

"If I activate this control, the outside airlock will open, and she will be sucked into oblivion. Do you think you can save her and then kill me before she's pulled out into space? It's a horrible way to die." Bane said, amused. His voice was soft, making his words seem joyful.

My eyes gazed into Anakin's, who was already looking in my direction. Our eye contact was more than just two eyes looking at each other. His eyes softened up, and his face became confused. I couldn't help but feel this was all my fault.

I tried my hardest to hold the tears in; I would be sucked into space at the moment. The Jedi needed the Holocron more. I shook my head, pleading not to give any information to Bane."Besides, isn't negotiation the Jedi way?" Bane tutted.

"What do you want?" Ani sighed, his voice lower in sound. His eyes were still plastered onto mine, not moving a bit. I shook my head again.

"This Holocron carries information I've been paid to collect. I can't unlock it, but you can. The last Jedi who had it wouldn't open it. I hope you don't make the same mistake. We don't have much time." Bane hissed.

Ani's body stayed still for a few moments; his eyes flickered to mine and the Holocron. I swallowed thickly; I felt vulnerable and defenseless.

"Hurry it up, Jedi, or she dies!" Bane shouted. Anakin snapped out of his thoughts, scrunching his eyes together. I knew what he was about to do. He was about to give in; I couldn't be the cause all the children in the galaxy are in danger.

"No, Anakin! Don't do it!" I yelled as loud as I could. My throat was burning as the tears began to swell in my eyes.

"I can't let you die, Y/n." Anakin softly voiced.

"Anakin, no!"

He laid his saber on the ground, becoming completely defenseless. He fell onto his knees facing the Holocron. With his eyes closed, he lifted the cube into the air diligently. The sides were unlocking themselves as all the pieces separated.

"Now I will combine this Holocron with the memory crystal I acquired from your dead Jedi friend." Bane placed the small crystal inside the cube; it closed back up, indicating it was done.

Bane held the Holocron up into the light, admiring it like a freak. At this time, Anakin quickly grabbed his lightsaber, including mine, and began to dismember the two tall droids.

"You stupid Jedi!" Bane shouted. He touched the button on his wrist, opening the airlock doors. My whole body rushed towards the exit. I yelled as I held onto the sides of the doors.

"Anakin!" I cried out. My fingers were slowly slipping from the edge.

"I can't hold it!" I yelled.

My fingers slipped, pushing my body backward.

"I got you!" Anakin yelled. With his free hand, he grabbed mine as quickly as he could.

I held on tightly, looking towards the back. Space was so dark and terrifying. The doors behind were slowly closing, and when they did, our bodies slammed back onto the ground.

"Are you okay?" Anakin shuffled right next to my side. His eyes peered into mine with a face of concern. He placed his saber, slicing the cuffs in half. My wrists were free and moveable.

"I'm so sorry, Anakin," I commented and hugged him as soon as I had the chance. The warmth of his body against mine was comforting. I missed the way he smelled or the way he held onto my back.

His hands slid onto my back, massaging it as I wept onto his robe. "Shhh, it's okay," He mumbled. His voice was soft and caring.

"We need to get out of here," Anakin whispered. I nodded back as I wiped the tears that had slipped down my cheeks.

I stood up grunting; my back had a heavy ache that made it exhausting even to breathe. I took a deep breath, sighing as my legs finally balanced themselves.

"Can you walk?" Anakin asked.

I moved a few more steps hitching as I forced the pain to subside.

"I think I'll be fin-"

"We don't have time." He interrupted. He picked up my body in one swoop carrying me as we ran into the hallway.  We reached the hanger getting onto the ship Rex and the troops had recovered.

"Is she alright?" Rex asked, his voice full of concern. Ani placed me onto a chair, wrapping the seatbelt around me. "She's fine, a little hurt, but she'll be fine," he commented. He held the side of my cheek with one hand caressing it.

"Thank you, Master Skywalker." I hinted. He withdrew his hands, coughing as he stood up and held the bar above his head.

I had been so exhausted I didn't realize I had slept the whole way back to Coruscant.
